Lost City and Glow Worm Tunnel Lithgow NSW Adventure Riding Australia

We're going adventure riding to the Lost City and Glow Worm Tunnel near Lithgow in NSW, and we got a little more adventure than we had planned!

We jumped onto the dirt at the Zig Zag Railway and headed towards the centre of Newnes State Forest before going off to look for The Lost City. We took a right instead of a left and ended up at a crazy 4WD path called Ranger Bob, but once we found the right path, it was an easy ride to the lookout.
From there, we visited the Glow Worm Tunnel, and that was when things got interesting.

I've ridden through the area a bunch of times but have never been to the lost city. It's on my list!

The riding is nothing amazing but the tunnel is absolutely worth the visit. Maybe just check the weather first, you know, to avoid... DRAMA!! 😜

Last time I walked up to the glow worm tunnels was mid winter and it was a warm sticky climb then. I can only imagine how it felt for you. Having said that, I also know better then to walk the mountains in summer!

Surprisingly ok. Obviously not as good as a proper road tyre, but fairly solid grip.
