Well, the fact is everything‘s going to go electric and that’s the way of the future use your your gas but you can’t stop progress everything‘s going electric the world keeps evolving and we keep progressing and electric is progressing.. lots of people care about our environment because we have to leave it in good condition for our children and future children of this world.
@LawnCareJuggernaut Жыл бұрын
I'm not angry about it. i just don't think its up to par for commercial use yet. the key word is yet. I would love to say that it is. As far as it being better for the environment that could be pretty strongly debated. I will leave that for someone else to talk about all the slave labor and strip mines in third world countries but you know out of sight out of mind and as long as the battery charges when you plug it in what does it matter if they are burning huge amounts of Fossil fuels at power plants to provide the power for the battery. I say under that logic as an environmentalist if its out of sight and mind what's to lose. On a serious note i think this is a great debate topic. I'm going to pin your comment and please feel in no way as i am picking on you. I honestly think that there are pros and cons either way you look at it. you are 100% correct that it is the way of the future and only time will tell if its a good way or a bad way. I'm not against electric equipment and i am interested in what people have to say on the topic.

Not it’s not going electric- too expensive and undependable. Keep your gas mowers!
@R-Texas Жыл бұрын
There may be one day when everything goes electric, but pushing it too soon isn’t good. In 3rd world countries/communist countries they have young children (6, 8, 10 years old) mining the metals needed for the batteries. That is atrocious and I don’t think any of us would want to watch that as it is happening or have our children do that. That is heartbreaking! We can’t just talk a “good” talk about progress, the environment, etc and forget to look at the hurt it is causing by pushing things too soon. Today running battery cars, etc does require using fuel to create the electricity, in the future when we develop cleaner means of producing energy it will happen. We still haven’t figured out what to do with all the dead batteries after their life is up, nothing good for future generations there. We aren’t there and ready yet. They talk in politics about this and try to push it for 100% now, there are so many issues that can be addressed now that are being overlooked. It boils down to using common sense. 💚

Going electric is no better. You can tell yourself that all you want but when gas powered vans with diesel generators have to drive around just to recharge an electric car your no better. Where do we get all the power to begin with to charge your stupid electric car oh ya diesel generators. The grid ain’t set up for everything to be electric we don’t produce enough electricity as a country for that so maybe you should re think who’s really saving the environment. It’s ain’t your electric bullshit. Another thing is what do you do with the components that can’t be recycled, do you burry them no bad for the soil do you burn them no bad for the environment it’s a bad system in general cuz not everything should be electric.

Sweetie, I totally agree with you and I got your back! There is points on both sides, however, I feel electric will be the lesser of two evils. (Talking points) Kevin, I love watching your videos and your humanitarian work. You and your family touch many lives with what you do. I’m from California and we still use gas power equipment thus far. But many advances have been made on electric equipment and it will only get better. Keep up the good work!

Kevin, this is one my most favorite videos of yours. God bless you. Remember in these times of adversity that what you focus on controls you. Let's help each other to keep our focus on the joy of the Lord which is our strength. I've heard that the Father and Jesus spend at least 50% of their time in heaven laughing with each other and with those in heaven. I've lost most of my family by now including my spouse and most recently my only son, age 54. But thankfully they all chose Christ and are in heaven now. I've been given a cancer diagnosis, but I don't claim it as mine. I claim from God my healing and believe it by faith. I believe that for your mom as well. A wise Christian counselor told me this: you cannot live life looking through the rear view mirror. Keep the faith my brother in Christ. God loves you and so do I.

the reason people comment stuff like use a shovel or dont blow the dirt back in the yard is because there are dozens of yardwork channels and we watch yours because you do things the right way and explain why it's the right way. I chose your channel because you do it the right way and take the time and extra effort to do it right. I hate watching that guy who just pressure washes away the dirt wasting so much water and killing the grass. I will keep watching your channel as long as you do it the right way. I also appreciate you not forcing your logo on people's driveways since they wont have the resources to remove it and of course they are going to say yes. love the channel and keep up the hard work and doing it the right way.

Juggernaut started this train. All other mowers offering free services are doing so, because Juggernaut started it. If other lawn care workers have different ways of doing things and I actually prefer their methods over Juggernaut, but as far as I’m concerned, Juggarnaut can do it however he wants. He caused many people and communities across the country to be blessed. He also addresses the water issue in another channel.

What you said in today's episode is so true. I took care of my mom for 4 years before she passed away with Alzheimer's. The house was a prison. I felt like I didn't get to see anybody cuz nobody stop by and said hi. I wasn't interacting with the people I normally did. To take care of. My mother was an honor and it was also very difficult. But anybody that's doing that needs so much help. Even if he just stop by and say hi. Chat for 30 minutes. Bring them a good book or magazine. Just something so they know somebody else is thinking about them. I really inspired by all you guys to go out there and help people like this and I try to do it in my own way as well. But what you said is true. Sometimes the castle can be a prison and can't judge it all. By the way, it looks looks

It's a 24/7 task and when no one else steps to give you even a couple of hours break, the frustration and resentment builds. This past Xmas, my sister hosted xmas and I pretended to be ill just so I could get a few hours of parent free time. My first actual break since I was hospitalised for a week 4 years ago. Who'd have thought that a hospital stay would be a vacay?
@biancag861710 ай бұрын
Yep! I'm a girl in the video, the one who didn't want to be on camera because of how fat I'd gotten, but Kevin only blurred my face, eeek!😄 But yes, unless they've taken care of someone with dementia, ppl don't understand how HARD it is. I quit my job, sold my house & moved into Mom's in 2019. I practically lost my mind, and lost track of how long it had been since the sidewalk was shoveled because it WAS a prison. I couldn't leave mom alone for more than 10 minutes at a time. In the video I was dropping my son off 5 minutes away; then raced back to Mom. For 3 full years, I wasn't given a break, not even an hour, from any of my relatives, & they all live close by -- and I asked several times. Oh, well! All that's in the past. Kevin did that work at Mom's in July '22 & she passed 6 months later. I've lost the 35 lbs I gained from stress-eating, thank God! 😆

Kevin your a great guy with a big heart. I am hoping that young man can learn by your example and have a starting point to jump off from in maintaining the yard that's always been overwhelming to him since he was a toddler. Having the right tools and knowing how to use them helps. And I loved the Jordan Peterson audio overlay. He is such a wise observer of humanity and how we live and how to improve by our change in habits.
@biancag861710 ай бұрын
Hi! I'm the lady who didn't want to be seen in the video. My son was exaggerating a bit; he was overly excited about being on a popular KZbin channel & made it sound like the sidewalk had been like that since he was little. I about died when I heard that. LOL Because of my mom's severe dementia, I wasn't able to go out and scrape all the dirt and sand that collects on the sidewalk. I probably hadn't done it for over a year at that point. I was paying a guy to mow the lawn, but I guess my mind was so messed up that I never asked him to scrape the sand and dirt. I don't know why he didn't do it on his own, I'll never understand that. But I was a mental disaster, because no one ever came by or gave me a break from my mom. It was killing me. But now that she has passed away (she died January of 2023) the yard looks really nice all the time and we're keeping it looking the way Kevin left it that day. It used to look like that, I don't know what my son & drunk neighbor were talking about. 😆
@biancag861710 ай бұрын
I forgot to mention why so much dirt and sand collects on the sidewalk. When Hurricane Katrina brought the Gulf of Mexico and a ridiculous amount of horrible nasty dangerous chemicals up into the lawn, grass has not grown hardly at all where the water came up, you can actually see a line, still. So every time the grass is mowed or it rains, the dirt and sand collects down on the sidewalk.

One of the benefits of blowing/shoveling the soil back into the yard is that it it often is high carbon/high quality soil. That's why it is able to support shallow-rooted plants. That lawn needs it as much of the soil in the yard is obviously poorer gauging by the lighter color.

These folks needed help and you were there. I was in a similar situation where I inherited a property in another state. I had to rent a truck and equipment to haul things out and maintain that property until sold. Financially, it put me in a hard place for over a year having to pay 2 mortgages,taxes, etc. I personally want to thank you for helping these folks. Stay blessed!

Blessings to you, Kevin. True American spirit and humility. I really enjoyed this. Random question, you wouldn't happen to have any more "Lost Footage"? 😅

Thank you!🙂 Kevin for opening up about your life. I also suffer from depression‼️‼️‼️. I’d have never known that Rachel had any problems, she’s so bubbly & up all the time. It’s amazing what we hid from others‼️‼️‼️

no doubt. everyone has some kind of battle going on. thats one of my favorite parts of what I do. I see that other people are just like me a person trying to make their way through life struggling with some kind of internal conflict. some times its just easier to see. Rachel has come such a long ways. for a moment in life I thought I was going to loss her. when her dad passed she just went off the deep end. she has really bloomed out over the last few years and its truly amazing to have her back the way she was when i met her. we are much stronger for all the struggle that we went through together so I wouldn't have it any other way even though at the time it was really hard.
