Steve thank you so much for the videos that you do, they are fantastic. I spent many of my childhood in the summers visiting Malta mainly in the north as that was originally where my dad was from. Watching your walks brings back so many good memories as a child and you show how beautiful Malta still is regardless the goings on there these days. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

"LABYRINTHICAL COSPICUA". Steve, that was an amazing & interesting walk around old historical BORMLA. I agree, people around there are really friendly 😊. Also, one would notice that a lot of people from the three cities (inc Cospicua) have British surnames 🤔. Hope you found your way back to your car. THANKS STEVE 🚶 🎥 👏. Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ™

Nice one Steve. My hat off to you old son, that was a fair walk with quite a few steps. You did well. I'll be there in September for a month. I was born in Malta and emigrated to Australia in 1957 at age 8. My first visit back there was in 2016 and then again in 2018. I'm looking forward to this next visit. Maybe come across you on one of your walks. Love watching your vids. Cheers. Michael.👍👍

Hi from New Zealand. Please go out to the Villa San Martin (in and up a hill from St Paul's Bay) and try to get some photos. I used to live there from 1990-1993 at a Mission Base with a bunch of international people. I know it has become a kind of hotel or something now. It's near the Grotto of Our Lady. I tried to go and look in 2013 when I went back, but it was privately owned and I got chased away by wild dogs !!!! I loved living in Malta, but had to move on. I do enjoy your programme very much.

Nelson St memories Daughter booked a flat in Nelson St when she got married. I spent 2 hrs trying to find it to check where it was. No one knew till I found the postman . Killed me walking up them steps when we went to the flat. Didn't mention the steps as they had several cases 😂

What a beautiful place Cospicua is Steve 😍 You could easily get lost there all day! I’m planning on spending some time visiting the 3 Cities when we’re over in August. How long would you say to visit all 3? Half a day or a full day?
@EnglishmaninMalta Жыл бұрын
Oh wow that difficult depends your staying power and how much you want to walk, many stairs and hills to climb

Those narrow alleys are totally devoid of life. I spent some time in southern Italy that looked a lot like that, except that the streets were wider. But the streets there were always full of life, kids playing, women out having really loud chats with each other, dogs barking, birds tweeting, a constant coming and going. That place looks like a museum. Does anybody really .live there? I'd get claustophobia.
