Rly feelin this. Try not to be too unique of your drum rhythms though. They can disassociate the instruments from the whole ensemble. I'm talking generally and constructively. I love this beat. plus, I can hear the progression over time through song after song. Good stuff. Def' on for more.

Well, I've found that syncopating rhythms often lead to improvisation (yet improv performance is hit or miss((mostly miss)) unless still rehearsed). Too much might lead to and oversaturation of rhythmic beats in the final product. Thus, breaking the beat from the melody and losing feel of the chorus or melody. (unless you're just being "fonky" on purpose.) I speak from a drummers perspective, and the truth of it is, sometimes less is more. It's all about control. From each note played, to the progression of the melody, to the mode of the song. Know what I mean? Love your stuff, I grew up on these types of beats. Production is solid too. Never stop.
