A lot of times, these lost individuals are severely mentally ill, on drugs, and homeless. Art just taking the time to listen and care, often leaves me with tears in my eyes because you can feel how much it means to the hurting people. God love them all. I am a subscriber.I absolutely love art castro and what he has done for those individuals. I absolutely love miggs and Karla. She tried to get clean but relapand she's back on the streats. Yes. Most drug addicts care ONLY for their drugs. I have often commented also that I think Karla has some cognitive disabilities (Miggy too!!) When Art speaks to her he has to speak slowly and repeat himself often. I don't think she understands plus she may be high. The best thing that could happen is for Miggy to spend time in jail. It really is sad.

She is a lost 19year old girl! Ignorance is bliss huh. She's lost and shy and has a sort of numbness because of her substance abuse. She does want to see her mother but it's complicated. Her mother had been deported three years earlier, making Karla homeless. If you followed the next video(s) before making this one,you would have seen that Art traveled to California to interview Karlas brother,which she'd more light on Karlas situation. Drug addiction is a disease, not a choice so, stop being so black and white about these people who are in those situations. It's people with perspectives like yours that have led Art to doing what you cannot. Seeing these people as people, not problems.

Art goes out and personally helps the homeless addicted people of all ages . I know Art is only able to help as much as the people are willing to be helped . The compassion Art shows and the help he gives , makes me realize I am not a Christian . I need to learn to be more like Art . Art is a good hearted and kind person. He gives them the necessary things they need to help them, and even drives them to the hospital an hour away and back and sit with them if needed and wanted. He is not exploiting the homeless in any way, just only trying to bring awareness about drugs and mental illness. He is not a person who will just hand them cash so they can go buy drugs with it, he gives items for support that are donated to the homeless through him.

Art, the creator of Lost in Phoenix truly cares for the people he interviews. But, he probably wouldn't be doing what he does if he wasn't making money. Lost in Phoenix and similiar channels like it, are generatinf thousands of dollars off the misery and suffering of homeless addicts. KZbin needs to stop monetizing these channels or make rules to prevent ths homeless from being exploited. I don't think Art even pays the people he interviews.

Unfortunately for some of these people they don’t know what better is. Seems like Migs mom is also out there with them so that should give you an idea on how he grew up, Carla’s mom was deported, and all the siblings have been split and although Ken looks healthy and happy, he lives with his GF parents since he was 16, that’s not “normal”. Doesn’t sound like the other siblings are doing too well, let’s hope that they are not also on drugs but who knows. There’s no mention of a father either. I think of something Dr Phil says, don’t think of why they are doing what they are doing but why not. It doesn’t sound like they grew up with any stability which is something every child needs. I think they want to be better even Migs with all his wondering thoughts and clear mental health issues but I don’t believe they know how. I think Art has come into their lives for a bigger purpose than to just interview them. 🙏🏽

Are you new to Art’s channel? It really seems like it. Those of us that have been watching him for years have also been following Karla and Miggs since they first started to appear on Arts channel. Karla isn’t an “A-hole” we don’t know her situation with her mom, maybe there’s childhood trauma involved, maybe there’s a reason Karla don’t want to go see her. We also don’t know what Karla was laughing at, as the videos are very much edited with clips removed and so on. And isn’t it funny how the comment you read in your video said Miggs should stay in jail because that’s the only way Karla will get off the streets. That didn’t age well did it? I think that between either being on drugs or being off the drugs and going through the withdraws, and adding to that, being homeless, that these people become almost like zombie like people. I'm not making fun of these people or their situation but they don't seem to strive to get out of their situation and would rather numb their realty with drugs but I will always believe that people have the ability to change. He offers everyone he interviews a ride to treatment and the offer seems to be good indefinitely. And that’s just some of what Art does.
