Enough praise has not go out to John Williams for this score. It's fabulous. As someone already posted, it is the best TV score ever! I think it's William"s best work. The three episodes he scored are the soundtrack of my born in 1960 life score.

I love the wind forward orchestrations. They seem to cut through the small screen so well.. I also love the chimes.

Saludos Pasaje Retro. Efectivamente, una de mis series favoritas de mi niñez. Desconocía los detalles mencionados. Me pareció bien el acuerdo entre la editorial y la productora de la serie. Debía estar sumamente encariñado con su obra Allen para haber hecho todo lo posible por mantenerla a flote. Una pena tanto reciclado de elementos de otras películas que se echaban de ver, y una pena por la incomodidad de Guy y June. Lo desconocía. A modo de comentario, la serie fue musicalizada por el gran John Williams, y fue refrita en una película y una serie que me dejaron con un mal sabor de boca :)

Não foi por acaso que George Lucas o chamou para sonorizar o seu Star Wars. A crítica lacrou, dizendo que a fórmula estava desgastada e não iria dar certo. John abiscoitou o Oscar de melhor trilha, e ainda concorreu com ele mesmo com Contatos Imediatos no mágico ano de 1977, doze anos após Lost in Space.

This IS NOT the original music from John Williams. The Lost in Space opening theme, and ending music is original, but the rest of it isn't. Listen to the music of Lost in Space, when Dr. Smith makes his entrance, and The Final Countdown music. Completely different from what this is, and done by a different composer.👎👎
