Leka video. Been to Tankwa & Cederberg area with my bike. Your GoPro's on the dash & windscreen - are they Hero 2's? (audio reduced by the housing) Also, you have an orange window breaker on roof panel. Where do you get those? Need one for my Everest 4x4 for upcoming overland trip. I've asked around but not much luck (yet).
@MyLifeinAfrica4 жыл бұрын
Hey man - yeah they are hero 2's, we have recently fixed the audio by adding external mic's into the mix now, sorry for that. The seatbealt cutter/window breaker i bought while in Australia, you can get them from be-safe.co.za/shop/emergency-medical-safety/emergency-rescue-knife/ not the same but a similar product.

@@MyLifeinAfrica I've saved Skoorsteenberg for my next Tankwa trip. I saw those window breakers in ASPW's Troopy and other vehicles in SA before he left for Auz. As paramedic I'm familiar with B-Safe. Hero2 is solid. For extra POV shots they're great for you. BTW, your POV angles are superb. You tell great stories & use of panoramic shots are good. In a crowded field on KZbin, these attributes give you an edge. Keep it up. Thanks for feedback.

Thanks for sharing, looks like it's worth a weekend away in the desert. What would be a great site for camping?

Those 80s had HD front diffs, HD Dyna gearboxes and were great, unlike the modern dressed-up Hilux clones.

A very bad video. Far to much noise (back ground music) mixed with voice and wind noise. You can see it is young amateurs kids' that made the video. They did not cater for the elderly, hard hearing, elderly people. The is all about them and lost the message (the Tankwa Karoo)
@MyLifeinAfrica3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Mic's have been sorted out so sound quality going forward has been improved. No sure what you mean by kids and it's all about them...
@timmiebuchner92833 жыл бұрын
i am a 74 year old, heard hearing male and it irretate me bery much if the back gound sound is over riding the mick. kids is youngsters that do not have a hearing problem. all elderly people develop hearing disabillery. i have 30 years of broadcasting behind me and i can see when a person is an amature or a trained professional.
