i just got another good reason on my long list of "why i am proud to be a bhutanese?" i am so proud and i thank the BBC team for letting us see this part of BHUTAN because, if this wasnt made we would never have been aware of what bhutan actually holds in its dense forest (plants and animals)...and i as a bhutanese promises to preserve TIGERS! and spread the message! thank u so much for posting it on youtube..this is one of the best thing i ever saw in youtube! :)

As a Bhutanese, I am proud that Bhutan is one of the last hopes for the survival of Tigers but the documentary has been misleading at a time. The video has portrayed some aspects as if they were the ones to discover it first. For example they said Bhutan was the key to making a connected biological corridor for the tigers even though the country was aware of it way back in the 80s during The Great Fourth's reign. But Thank you for the effort and a marvelous job :)

I am glad they showed a map and highlighted the areas they live. Great idea to keep the last remaining tigers 'hidden' and 'thriving'....

There have always been tigers in Bhutan. They've been around long before humans inhabited these lands. This is not a discovery for all humanity, but a discovery just for the British Scientists. Everyone in Bhutan knows that we have tiger in the jungles, forests, and high mountains.

Looking for tigers in Bhutan, Northeast India, Southern China and Nepal is like looking for a needle in a haystack. All four major subspecies (five in case of India with lions) that include leopards, snow leopards, clouded leopards are found in all these countries. In India, Nagaland has the best diversity of wildlife, with more leopards, clouded leopards and snow leopards found across the Indian subcontinent.

so hard to express my feelings..as a chinese ,i feel so ashamed the wild chinese tiger is extincted...all because we use the tiger as a traditional chinese medecin...i am also happy to see in Bhutan, there left a bunch of wild tiger...for the chinese tiger ,it is a very sad story, their exctinction has something to do with the politic. the foolish need and the steal hunting...this is very very sad...

does anyone else think, that broadcasting to the world, where the last tiger stronghold is located, could be a bad idea?? poachers might use this to find the remaining tigers..

Nah. It's not as bad you think. These elephants are probably raised in captivity and in another tiger documentary: Tiger: Spy in the Jungle, they used elephants as well and gave them loads of free time and breaks. I doubt the BBC would allow illegal practices

All a bit driven by dramatic drum effects. What is the matter with people and programme makers, promoting their own careers ahead of real conservation. And by the way, thanks once again for pointing out to every poaching organisation, the localities of all remaining tiger populations. Absolutely astonishing and shameful.

If the tiger was gone from the wild it would save over 200 people a year from dieing the horrible dealth possible plus living in terror 24-7
