1:29 it was revealed in Jennette McCurdy’s “Im glad my mom died”memoir that originally she was gonna be on her own show called Just Puckett, where Sam would’ve worked as a school counselor. Eventually tho Nickelodeon decided to make it into Sam and Cat, and Just Puckett was just scrapped.

I’m pretty sure the “alternate ending” of Ned’s Declassified was never intended to actually be the ending of the episode, but was rather content made just for the fans. This was just when Nick began putting a lot of focus on their website, with a lot of exclusive content shot just for the site. The appearance of aliens really fits with the “LOL random” humor at the time, for sure.

The Ned's Declassified School Survival guide one is definitely true, and I used to have a copy of the alternative ending on DVR so I got to watch it multiple times with friends. The ending is a joke ending where a cheap alien is essentially slotted into the plot for comedic effect, with all the characters "fighting" the alien, including a chase scene with lots of slapstick elements and clearly not meant to be taken seriously. I wish I still had that DVR box because I never knew this episode would pop up on a lost media episode.

Hi Jorge, have you heard of Jennette Mccurdy’s new book “I’m glad my mom died”? In it, she shares her relationship with her abusive mother as well as revealing some messed up incidents she went through when working with Dan Schneider as a teen. Could a follow up video to your Schneider video be possible? Great video btw

I remember the name and head sticking out style very vividly, but I thought it was my imagination (like come on, wienerville doesn’t sound like a kids show). One I remember was about proper nutrition and the mans puppet was like a superhero suit. I know she had more episodes recorded since she had a big cardboard box filled with random tapes! Although it's not Nickelodeon media, I've actually been looking for an animated short I remember seeing as a kid in the mid 80's and I've tried searching for any information online on it, but to no success. It was an animated short that aired in between shows on Disney channel in the 80's about a man who had a crush on his neighbor across the street. He would like look at her through his blinds with binoculars and take pictures of her with a camera. When he attempted to talk to her, he would just blush and sweat profusely. He would daydream about her and him ballroom dancing and being a couple to even having a family. Finally at the end he gets enough courage to talk to her so he marches to her house and rings the doorbell. When she opens the door, he starts to get shy again, but then sees that in her living room, she has binoculars and a camera with photos of him. In the end, they both had mutual feelings for each other. I can't remember the name of it, but the title of it was the 2 names of the characters, like George and Margaret or Harold and Maude. When I look online another animated show, Bob and Margaret pops up but that isn't it since that show came out in 1998. Please excuse the lengthy comment, but watching your videos helped me remember old stuff I remember watching, and this whole comment here was one of them. Thanks for your time and keep up the great work 😁👍

This world is rapidly passing away and I hope that you repent and take time to change before all out disaster occurs! Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36) if you believed in Messiah you would be following His commands as best as you could. If you are not a follower of Messiah I would highly recommend becoming one. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life - Revelation 3:20. Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13 over the course of 1260+ years. Revelation 17 confirms that the beast is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God. Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!

Ok so I was watching the “Oh Dear!” part and I went to Wikipedia to the nicktoons film festival page and might’ve found something interesting. If anyone remembers and are fond of the Mighty B growing up then you’ll be surprised to hear that an unaired pilot was in the Nicktoons film festival back in 2006. The name of the Mighty B!’s unaired pilot is called “Super Scout”. I tried looking to see if there was any signs of the pilot on the Internet but there is none. I actually distinctly remember that Ned's Declassified alternate ending. I might get little details of this wrong but here's generally what happened: After the scene where Ned and Moze finally get together and kiss towards the end of the special, an alien suddenly appears out of nowhere instead of the character that actually runs up to them in the episode. He claims that he's come to Earth to take over the world, and Ned, completely unfazed by the alien, says he'll have to fight them first. The alien says "Ha! You and what army?" at which point Moze snaps her fingers and the entire cast of the episode run into frame. The alien then says "Oh, that army" and meekly runs away as the cast chases him. I'd have no way of accessing it now, but if I'm remembering correctly it actually did air on TV. I think it was shortly after the episode aired and I even remember it being promoted in commercials at one point. I'm really confident in this because I don't think I would've been looking on the TeenNick website much at the time. Hopefully someone video taped it or otherwise saved it, Ned's Declassified was one of my favorite shows as a kid and I'd be glad to see it again. Great video as always by the way, you're top class man. Edit: aaaaaand I'm only just now seeing your update, lol. Glad to know my memory's still good!

I remember when Wienerville first became popular in 1994, right after my family got cable for the first time. Speaking of lost Nick media, I recently remembered some weird Nick show from the mid to late 90s, possibly a one-time special. It resembled All That as a sketch comedy show starring smart-alecky kids, except it also had some (very creepy) puppet characters. Skits that I distinctly remember were a strange family that couldn't remember each other's names and a pair of doctors by the name of Dr. Ducks and Dr. Geese. The latter skit also ended with one of the doctors wishing he could be selfish, only to be turned into a clam (haha get it? shellfish!). I feel like I might be the only person who remembers this, because I haven't found anything remotely close to it on lost media websites, but I would love to be proven wrong.

What’s interesting about how little we know about By The Way is that we actually know more about it now than we did a few years ago. Before the available footage was uploaded at the end of 2018, all we had was that newspaper description that really doesn’t say much other than it had a character named Josie. People didn’t even know what the show was. I’m sure there are people that watched it when it aired, but I doubt there’s that many out there. Jim Jinkins actually worked on it, but I’ve been told he doesn’t have any footage.

There's almost no surviving footage from Nickelodeon's first year of broadcast, besides these couple of minutes of this one show and one commercial introducing the newly launched channel which is also on youtube. This was before cable television was a thing, and Nickelodeon at this point was still a small, obscure channel which was only locally received, so very few people were watching it at this point in time, which is also why information about the channel and its programming during those early years is so extremly scarce. It's a very obscure period in Nickelodeon's history that we might never know much about. Only starting fr sometime after 1984 do we start to get more footage and info about Nickelodeon and its programmes.

@@reggiekrager5411 Cable has actually been a thing since the 50s (though it was only used to show broadcast channels to more remote areas at first). And Nick was in more than one place in 1979. I’ve seen newspaper listings from Florida and I think Toledo had it by the end of the year. What was a local channel was its predecessor, the Pinwheel channel on an experimental cable system called QUBE in Columbus, Ohio. And I think we know more about the channel’s early years than you seem to realize. There’s this KZbin series called Nick Knacks that’s doing a retrospective on every show the channel has aired and it’s actually pretty in depth, including the pre-1984 stuff.

I loved Nick News growing up (only reason I would ever wake up early just so I could watch it). Linda Ellerbee was amazing and she treated kids with a respect that they could understand more heavy topics. No wonder I ended up a total nerd. I hope all them resurface someday.

Nick News really inspired me to learn more about the world around me and I do read a lot from the Associated Press every morning. I’ll never forget her coverage of AIDS in 1991 and her tour of Afghanistan 🇦🇫 after the invasion in 2001. That content was very deep and while the kids she interviewed were crying, I was crying too

Gordon Bleugh was originally part of the nicktoons film festival which was kind a cavalcade of shorts created by indie animators. The ones that got the most attention were turned into shows, Godron had a pilot created but was never picked up, the shorts from that pilot were aired on the Nicktoons channel for a couple of years.

I think I have the Ned's Declassified alternate ending on tape! I remember recording the finale when it aired cause it was my favorite show. The finale aired twice: once with the normal ending, the other with the aliens. I'm going to search for the tape. If I don't have the ending, then I should at least have the ad that shows a clip from it. I'll report back soon!

BrainSurge brings back so many memories for me! I really wanted to be on it when I was a kid because I felt like I could win it and wanted to go down the brain drain. It makes me sad that a show I despertly wanted to be on is now partially lost. Thankfully some episodes are on youtube, like the ones featuring all the Nickelodeon stars from back then (i.e Victorious, Big Time Rush, etc), but it still has a sinking feeling inside me knowing that some episodes are lost. Nick Studio 10 was another one I remember watching because they heavily advertized it. The ones I remember the most was the stupid "Fart in a Jar" song (which I tried to replicate many times when I was younger), the Jeanette and Arianna one, the BTR one with Kendall and James, and all the random clips they spliced in between cartoon episodes. I wasn't really mad when they happened, but more confused. Hopefully some of the content would be found, just to see how badly it aged.

The Ned's Declassified Alternate ending was a semi-advertised thing leading up to either the premier or a rerun. It was essentially a joke ending; it took a scene from earlier in the episode (I vaguely remember it being a scene between Ned and Mose) where, out of literally nowhere, some dude in a rather poorly made alien costume came out and chased the cast around some gazebo or something for a bit. It was a very comedic thing, very camp in nature. I remember it specifically because I was excited to see it, but was ultimately disappointed by it. I wouldn't be surprised if someone videotaped it at one point as, again, it was definitely advertised leading up to it being shown.

THANK YOU for finally bringing attention to Gordon Bleugh! I remembered seeing these shorts on Nicktoons years ago and was upset to find they were lost media. But I need to give a correction. More than 3 shorts exist. A 4th one was uploaded to KZbin shortly after the last update to the LMW page (spoiler, the page is extremely out of date). And recently I found a compilation video that contains a 5th short that I distinctly remembered seeing on Nicktoons. As far as I'm aware there aren't anymore shorts out there, except for a possible 6th one that I saw a test animation of online.

I actually remember Nick Studios 10. Back when I was a kid I recorded when they interrupted an episode of Spongebob on TV. I remember I was filming a clip of where Pearl was looking at a pet seahorse. It suddenly cut to an orange screen saying “the following is an important announcement.” It then cut to a video of a cat riding on a robot vacuum cleaner. Then it cut to the Nick Studios 10 logo with a man screaming “NICK DID IT!” I had no idea that Nick Studios 10 was a show. I just thought it was a prank that Nick was playing on their audience. It gives me a bit of nostalgia looking at that again. lol

There was sort of a hispanic copy of Brainsurge on Discovery Kids, called "Veloz Mente" (a play on words between "velozmente" which is an adverb of "fast", and "mente", meaning "mind"). I got to participate on the show when I was 8 years old, back in 2010, and I have managed to find my episode, thanks to someone who recorded their TV screen with a camera. The issue is I found a wiki of that show, and realized that there are some missing episode, that nobody has been able to find ever since the show stopped airing. Also, I haven't found a way to watch my episode in higher quality than that 144p video on youtube. I haven't gotten to look too deep for it, but I haven't found any streaming services owned by any of the companies related to the show, so it's unlikely anything will ever be just posted to the public. Idk tho, my hopes are still up Edit: also, in case anybody cares at all, look up "Veloz mente episodio 11". I'm Felix in the 11th episode of the 1st season

@@_rarerayy_ discovery kids is in a zombified state like most latin american kids channels, the companies that run them don't care about cable and are more interested in streaming. the moment discovery kids start advertising any streaming service, quality latam cartoon tv will basically be gone and discovery kids's already mediocre lineup of show's new episodes will be relegated to this hypothetical streaming service heck, with cartoonito around and warner bros discovery having two latin american preeschool channels there's a chance dk will shut down completely, which would be very sad, my already ending childhood wouldn't be the same without discovery kids.

The Ned Declassified Alternate ending is 1000% real. I remember it. I never saw it but seeing the commercial for it. They aired the finale (7pm) then right after it ended during the credits the nick commercial announcer said something like"Stay turn to see it again with an alternate ending" at (8pm). I remember watching the first few minutes then my mom forcing me to go some high school graduation event for a church member or something. I remember being in the church looking at the clock upset that I was missing the alternate ending for some random event i didn't care about. The only reason I remember so much is because it became an "core memory" b/c of how upset i was
