My favourite board. Goes in anything and feels much smaller than it is when you start throwing it around. Only thing at 6'9 it gets a handful on bigger days. I'll get another one at 6'6 one day.

Hi guys, what do you think about using this board as substitute of an Hypto Krypto in good head high clean waves? Low end Intermediate. Thanks

Great review ! Torn between a 7.0 crowd killer and the 6.6 party crasher. All my shortboards are in the 5.10 - 6.0 range (36 - 38 liters). Looking for something that's going to increase wave count, can be surfed in a variety of conditions, and maintains a shortboard feel. I'm 49 and weigh 185lbs. Which would you recommend between the two?

What did you end up getting ? You should go a 6’4 party crasher or even and inch or two shorter. Still has plenty of volume. I have both boards and the party crasher is way more fun!

So Biolos takes the Quiver Killer, stretches it out into the Crowd Killer (as per the Lost website), then realizes that he stretched it a bit too much (as per their IG post saying they wanted to make something easier to travel with), chops the extra inches off the tail again, and then gives it a diamond instead of a round pin so that he can make it a different model. Would you agree that whoever is riding a Quiver Killer at a comfortable volume won‘t have to lose any sleep over this board? Btw, thanks for having a non-pro doing reviews!

Arrzfr, we don't want people losing sleep over any of this. The outline is a little more parallel than the Quiver Killer, so it is a different board and will feel different, but would fit in a similar wave range for your quiver. The Party Crasher also has a little more rocker, which makes it ride more like a big guy's shortboard than a scaled-up hybrid board like the Quiver Killer. If you have a Quiver Killer and enjoy it, don't worry about it. if you have a Quiver Killer and don't like the way it rides and want a little more shortboard feel, then try the Party Crasher.

Hello, good review as usual ! :) How does the party crasher compare to the crowd killer round ? (I'm interested by a board around 38 liters) Thanks

So like, I’m stuck. Crowd killer c4 or Party Crasher, for more peaky waves, what would you say?

any advice on fin selection for these boards? especially curious about a 2+1 setup for more of the "midlength" feel... but also interested in any feedback on thruster or quad configs.

I know the El Patron is more of a shortboard would this bridge the gap between a 6-2 EP and a 6-6 CK

Hey Trip, great review as always, how would this board compare to the el tomo fish? thanks!

They are very different, the Party Crasher paddles and rides smooth like a mid-length. The outline and thin rail allow you to surf the board longer, and at higher volumes, while still being rippable. It also has more wave range. The El Tomo Fish is designed to excel in the smaller end of the wave range when conditions lack power.

Anyone buy this board way smaller than recommended? I'm looking at picking up a 5'9 from a guy locally. Most my boards are 29-31ltr range and the board he's got is sitting right there at 31 ltrs. For reference I'm 5'11 at 157lbs.

Get the FCS2 or Futures Matt Biolos fins. Thruster if you want to go more vertical and throw some turns, quads for down the line speed.

But both you guys sell Lost boards right? And you both make surfboards? How about a real comparison? Compare this board to DHD 3DX, Hytro Krypro, CI Mid or other older gent boards, etc? For this type of board, we (i) want real feedback on boards. They're expensive. I want the right board. I don't wan't to be pissed off when I buy a new board and it isn't right for my size or age. I am 49yo, 80kg, can surf well, live in Indo, but surprisingly don't get to surf that much - only on holidays. Don't just say it's a good board and it worked ok at your local.! The Lost website says it's 'age appropriate' (I believe they mean for older surfers). The Crown Killer was also for older guys. Get an average 50 yo surfer on this board, then make a review. Did his older arms paddle him ok? Could he duck dive a 45lt board? I'm sorry to question you guys, but even it out a bit so we cal all have fun. So, I'd like to ask you to review it with an older gent and see what he thinks. Peace dudes,

I’m 40 and 115kg I have this the 6’8 same width as this board which is a tad under the stick width. The board is great! I prefer it to a crowd killer because the volume is under you more when paddling as opposed to being more stretched out, and I don’t have to move around so much(feet positioning) I’m really loving this board. I still ride the bean bag when it’s small. I sized it like biolos says in the description, between a puddle jumper and crowd killer. If you’re 80kg I wouldn’t recommend the 46L 6’8 for a daily driver. Maybe 64? I’d say the 6’4 is still a fair amount of volume.
