You are basing your idea that the rapture and the second return of Christ are the same thing. Scripture NEVER says they are. In fact they can't be. Jesus said that no man knows the day or hour of the rapture. However, if it is the same thing then that means the end of the tribulation. Which at least by the middle of the tribulation when the last day is. Daniel SPECIFICALLY GIVES the number of days from the abomination to the end of the tribulation. Jesus also Said people would be taken by Surprise. So they can't be the same....

The rapture will not be a secret...for sure. It is just imminent. We don't know when it will happen. I Thess 4 and Ii Thess 2 explains it. There are many passages in the Word that tell us that His Bride, the Church, will not go through the Tribulation. We will come back with Jesus on His 2nd coming.

4:57 As a person who received the Holy Ghost about a couple of weeks after completion of my first reading of the AKJV Bible and later read the Book of Enoch, I feel that we should not say that the Book of Enoch wasn't inspired by God. Instead, we might say that it is not required reading in order to receive salvation. It does, however, explain things like where demons came from, why sin sprang up again after the flood, and many other parts of the mystery of God. Now, we cannot completely understand that mystery until the day that it is finished (Revelation 10:7), but the knowledge gained from the BOE helps us to recognize when certain evil spirits are presenting evil thoughts to us. We can see they try to tempt us using the same things and methods as they did in the time of the Watchers (the sons of God in Genesis 6). Also the fact that the BOE was found in the Dead Sea Scrolls helps support its existence before the time of Jesus, although the main support for that was Jesus himself. He rebuked the Sadducees for not knowing a fact (Angels in heaven do not marry.) that is only stated in the Book of Enoch, not in the OT. In other words, they should have read the Book of Enoch, too. Remember, "whoso readeth, let him understand", Matthew 24:15? These are words spoken by Jesus, although red letter edition publishers would have you think otherwise.

Copy that. I got the bulk of my knowledge in this area from Ken. I also spend significant time listening to Chuck Misler. The first one I heard who took Pharisaic /Rabinic traditions to task was Michael Rood (he runs off the path with some of his interpretations and those in his ministry are a bit cultic regarding his teachings).

The Book of Enoch mentions that there will be holy writings coming which later did beginning with Moses, and that his book was not to be added to them but taken aside for a later generation. So it's definitely not canonical. But it is a helpful companion book. Especially in our generation. But it's not the living breathing word of GOD. Think of it like this...I have my Holy Bible which is alive and inerrant and truly the word of GOD. And then I have my commentaries which are helpful study aids and can give clarity or confirmation, but I'm aware they're not the word of GOD.

Ages, there are 3 of then, God created all things in the first age, we are living in the 2nd age, when it is over we will go into the 3rd age which will be a spiritual age. It is an interesting coincidence that the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered just as Israel was becoming a nation. I think the attitude of these two men with regard to not being angry or divisive over these issues. I do believe that those of us longing for the Lord’s return are hungry for these perspectives and so Josh, Ken, Horn, and others have an audience.

I still can’t believe that I’m alive during this part of history it is absolutely mind-boggling. I was born in 1982. I never thought of the age of 41 that I could be raptured!! This topic is so interesting!! The fact that the world is declining as rapidly as it is, is definitely a sign for the church to get ready. I definitely feel you when you say we were made for this time and what a time it is. However I kindly ask you to enertain what I have to say. Please and this may sting as it did me. We are going to go through the tribulation. We won't be raptured. We are already passed the millenial kingdom and we are in the short season now. WHY would God take us up and then come back down with us and then after being with Him for a thousand years release our enemy another time. For what? To see if we really love Him. Yeshua told the apostles that before thier generation had passed He would return and I believe He did very close to Him being put on the cross. Like around 70 ad but I could be wrong about that actual date but the taking away happened back then and then He set up His reign and then released our enemy and this was the dark ages even 1776 our forefathers were all freemason devil worshippers, not Christians. They hid all of technology and all of history to trick us. This topic has so much more I could correlate but I digress for now. Please don't take this as me telling you your wrong about your view of where we are on God's timeline. I am not here to divide however I am a TRUTH SEEKER through and through. The rapture as is taught today wasnt even taught untill late 1800's early 1900's by Hal Lindsey and the dispensationalists. They did have one thing right. It is more urgent than ever now to accept Jesus and repent. If you choose not to and reject God and His salvation, then what is coming next is on you, and will not merely be a bad time, but put you in ETERNAL judgement. Noah preached day and night before the flood came, and everyone mocked him and thought he was crazy, then God flooded the earth, and only 9 people were saved on the ark. Today, our ark is Jesus Christ. You must heed the warnings and repent, turn away from sin, and run to God. Accept that Jesus paid for YOUR sins on the Cross and that He rose again and you will be forgiven, set free from Judgement and He will put His Holy Spirit in you to show you the Way. I thought it was all nonsense until I had my own encounter with Jesus. But His love is REAL, His Spirit really does reside with you and show you the Way. You really do feel clean and new, born again! And you have a love residing in you you never thought possible! I implore you to come back home to God. He loves you, died for you, and even beat death for you so you would have life in abundance. But like those left behind when Jesus returns for His church, the choice is yours. Choose life that you may live, choose Jesus.

I think Josh is in error, just as the Pharesees were told by Jesus as being in error - not knowing the Scriptures. To say Enoch isn't scripture is quite literally going against what Jesus himself admonished the Pharesees of when they asked him about the woman who married the 7 brothers that each died in succession. He replied saying that in the Resurrection, in heaven, we neither marry nor are given in marriage but are as the Angels in heaven. That sentence, that quotation is NOWHERE in ANY of the "canonical" 66 books. It's LITERALLY only found in 1st Enoch. Only. So that means Jesus was quoting from Enoch and called it SCRIPTURE.

The Scripture Jesus and the apostles were reading in those days was the Septuagint. Not the Masoretic most of our Bibles come from today like the KJV.

Question if anyone can clarify. If Christians today are from the Essenes then why do the Christians practice so much paganism? And if like the Essenes, christians believe in the commandments then why don't they observe and keep the Sabbath holy (4th)?

Because not everyone is who they say they are. Even Judas was included with the disciples. Satan has so saturated this world with deception that the truth is blurred unless you seek for it. I have broken my relationships with friends and family because I do believe in following the commandments and looked at as having weird beliefs. It’s almost looked at as if they think following the commandments of God is a sin. It says in the book of John that sin IS breaking the commandments. So if we are supposed to turn from sin… shouldn’t we be turning to the commandments? I believe what was sin will always be sin. I do not believe God decided some things are no longer sin or ever gave us an excuse to sin. Why the world has canceled out the sabbath leaves me flabbergasted. As far as I am concerned… Jesus said not one jot or tittle of the law would pass away until heaven and earth passed away. I can’t judge others because I don’t know when God will open their eyes I just know that he opened mine. I can only pray.

It is apostasy that was foretold. The church has fallen away into pagan practices .This is why the tribulation is coming. It is for the whole world, not just a particular country . @@mellowthreat True. I had a strange experience about 5 months ago & I was caught up to heaven in my sleep. It wasn't at all like a normal dream. My mom & grandma both died in 2020 & my mom's sister died in 2018. Suddenly I'm in my aunt's backyard in heaven & my mom tells me we're going to visit her. We walked into this amazing house but then my mom said "Oh I guess she's out getting the last things for the party." I saw she had some long tables, like the kind you rent for parties, in a big room & maybe 30-40 folding wooden chairs. There were trays of food that were covered and stacked up on the kitchen island too. She wouldn't answer when I asked her who was coming to the party or what was going on. I think they're experiencing time very differently than we are here. It felt like they were really rushing, despite the fact that years are going by from our perspective.

I have found that the Scriptures opened up to me in the last 15 years (so that I have been able to understand and connect the dots between the Old and New Testaments) by listening to Messianic Jewish teachers, because they know the Hebrew and Greek interpretation of the original texts, and they recognize the Jewish perspectives and idioms. @@heidibrown997 Hi Heidi, thanks, that’s interesting and I will look up Ken Johnson’s teaching! I tend to value what the Essenes wrote. I hope you don’t mind me airing my opinion below. I don’t feel convinced when I hear preaching about a pre-tribulation snatching away as it does’t seem to line up with Scripture. I am perfectly happy to be wrong about that, but I know the Lord knows when He is coming back, and has promised to inform us, if we are like the Philadelphia Church in Revelation. Until then, I need to be continuing to study the Word and to advance the Kingdom. This means using Scripture, and “casting all my cares upon the Lord”, doing my part to be healthy, to “pray always” to overcome fear, depression, and attacks of the enemy, etc. Also to “pray with all kinds of prayers and petitions for all the saints.” Not to say I am a big success at all of it, but enough to enjoy while waiting. I am glad whenever I feel I am “in the Spirit.” Blessings!

The book of Enoch was in the original king James I believe it was taken out because of the weight and thickness of the Bible. We don’t really know, we cannot dismiss it. These books add clarity to some things. God is bringing to surface things He wants us to know. Lots of people are talking about this particular book

He is The Word and he is named in this Book. The books were removed because it named him our True Messiah and it named the True Most High Creator, Father of All life 2nd Enoch 20:3. I thought the roman catholic church removed those books from the Bible. Thats what my research tells me. Originally those books were in the Bible. And the Bible quotes Enoch 4or 5 times and Enoch walked with God for 300 years don't you think God revealed some things to him. I believe its worth reading it goes into Biblical cosmology which we have been lied to about and the nature of demons which i think we need to know about for spiritual warfare. The powers that be know what they are doing.

Do you think the time of the” Law of Christ “ Is really different than the time of the” Law of Torah “? Yahweh says He does not change, we’re told Yeshuah is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. We’re told Torah is Truth, The Way, made in flesh and walked perfectly by Yeshuah. Our current “church” has turned our backs to Torah and seem to embrace Grace as a behavioral, religious free for all, with no need to show our love to Yahweh by trying to keep His Commands. Aren’t we all told over and again “If we love Him, we keep His Commands…and they are not burdensome” They certainly bring much grief from others if you try to keep the Moadim and follow His Commands by “believers”

If we truly believe that our Bibles are Truth, The Word of Yahweh, then my own thinking is that every book/scripture (?) mentioned by the writers that isn’t in the man approved “Bible” should also be “Truth”, otherwise, why would it be in there? We’re told by our pastors in these churches that have tossed Yahweh’s Holy Days for Christian converted pagan holi days not to read the “apocryphal” things mentioned. Sounds like a deception, clouded eyes and unhearing ears that we’ve all embraced as “religious truth”, even though those truths are not of His Word?

So a word for you to pray into and test. When I prayed along with the youtube recording for your sons healing. I felt the words come to mind 'on the 7th of Nisi' and then as if the holyspirit added to the words '7th of Nissan gift of healing for your faith', I felt maybe after a period of prayer and fasting you will have a breakthrough in his healing. Just a thought Nisi is a period of waiting in divorce and then the official separation. 7th of Nissan in modern jewish calendar is obviously soon but I looked up the meaning of Nissan and Nis has its root in miracle and so is also associated with a month of miracles. I was resisting sharing but feel God encouraging me to share, so I'm trying to be faithful. I hope and pray for you. God bless

At 28:30 it mentions that the Age of Grace began in year 75 A.D., so exactly 2,000 years later our date will be 2075. The Essenes equivalent calendar date will be year 6,000 (from Creation). I think….

I used to be pre trib, and respect anyone who is, I fully know I could be wrong… but Holy Spirit highlighted for me the scripture where Jesus said he would return before those standing with him passed away. I thought Jesus was either wrong or our theology is wrong. I started looking into Josephus who recorded chariots in the sky during 70AD. And Jewish idioms like “coming on the clouds” which means to come with war - which fits the “destruction of Jerusalem” as his coming. I’d love to hear your thoughts on that sometime. I think we could be in Satan’s little season, where Satan deceives the nations - meaning what we’ve been told about history and where we are would be lies… of course, if that is true we are waiting for the great judgement.

First off, I'd like to thank Josh and Ken Johnson and folks like Bill Salus and many others for the work they do. I have a major sticking point. How do we know that it is AD 2024? There were 400 years "missing" between the old testament and Messiah and the new testament. We have a period in AD history referred to as the dark ages. Why? Because there seems to be not much of anything to date the time by. Maybe, it is only 1624 or 1724. Then what? I think the best way to ensure that no one knows the time of Messiah's return is to have us not know where we are or when we are on the timeline. So how do we know this is 2024? I can see many (figure of speech only) having great expectations for (near) future events and...nothing happens. Folks fall away. The adversary wins. Game over!
