About Ghazipur City:-
Ghazipur City (GCT) lies in the North Eastern Railway Zone (NER), Gorakhpur under Varanasi division. The station is directly connected to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Surat, Agra, Bhopal, Jammu, Asansol , Patna junction, Lucknow, Amritsar, Jabalpur, Guwahati, Kolkata, New Jalpaiguri, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Pathankot, and other major & important cities by routine trains and the Ghazipur Railway Station Will Be strategically more important.
Currently it has Double line railway route with electrification of Prayagraj Jn-Varanasi Jn-Ghazipur City-Chhapra Jn Rail Route. And a New Rail line From Mau Junction to Tarighat Station Via : Ghazipur City Station and Bridge on Ganga River.
The Railway Station is having WiFi facility and Rake handling facility apart from Washing Pit, Loco Maintenance and other facilities. Ghazipur City is going to be one of the Largest Railway Junctions in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
