This one would be #1 on my list of Campaign modules from the 80's

A very cool Module, I have used it a number of times.

Probably the best MERP module from the '80s.

I remember playing this one with you a lot in university.

It was a joy to play. Too bad we never got to try the Arthedain-Cardolan vs Angmar-Rhudaur that I had set up.

One of the few old modules I don't own, but I got the material in the 2e Arnor super-module.

The Arnor super module had almost everything that the CArdolan Book had and then expanded on a few of them like the Hunt for the Warlord and Aldarion's House. Will eventually get to that one.

@@romandacil3984 Cool; I'm going back through it now and I think this is where we are going to set our upcoming MERP campaign. I like the idea of the Warlord as a big bad, as well as the opportunity for espionage against the Witch King. Plus, it's one of the areas where you can realistically have PCs from all the major free races.

@@sunsin1592 I found Cardolan to be the one module that offered a reasonable chance of survival for low level adventurers. No suicide squads going into Carn-Dum, Moria, Dul Guldur or Mordor. The main adventures also flow together nicely. You can even be a half-orc in Cardolan and no one would think twice kind of place as one of the major mercenary captains is an orc (Forak's Violators). Good mix of racial types.

Angus McBride was the BEST artist EVER.

He was awesome. Not quite the same league as John Howe or Alan Lee but he would have been great had he had the chance to illustrate in Peter Jackson's movies.
