@Archangel4G63 I pretty much just went ahead and learned unity/unreal engine. A lot of tinkering and learning code, but I treated it as a hobby and pursued comp sci in uni. Once I was pretty comfortable with the engines, I started applying to places with my projects from game jams and personal projects on my resume and landed a job

I got the opportunity to demo this back at PSX 2019. It was fairly challenging, and yet a very smooth and fun gameplay experience. With one attempt each, I watched 7 people before and 2 people after me. All off us failed. I was close, but couldn't quite pull it off in one try. At the time only one person had completed it that weekend. This will be really enjoyable for anyone looking for a pure fast combat oriented game.

This was a solo project for Unreal Engine 4 and it’s come a long way. I hope the original vision of the single developer doesn’t get diluted too much since it’s now being published by Sony and most likely has a team now. I was inspired like many others to make my own game on Unreal Engine and I encourage others to do so as well, it’s a really cool experience to build your own game in the engine and no coding knowledge needed.

You kinda do need coding knowledge even if you're using unreal, decima, or whatever engines are out there these days. Especially in the game development world.

You really need some coding knowledge to develop a game, java and c++ are the most common used languages. And to be specific, you need to understand the concept of object oriented programming (OOP for short). It's what lets you insert specific features into in-game objects
