acting is so strange considering their actual real life drama. They dated early on in the shows run and were quite serious. He drank too much and she started dating a crew member and it was quite awkward. She never actually broke up with him she just started dating this other guy and he had to be told it was happening.

​@@aenima1 That´s true, although I have heard unconfirmed rumors, that the reason Evangeline started dating with Dominique, halfway through filming the first season..It was out of spite for another relationship that didn't work out with another one of hers, co-stars.... .let me explain...during the beginning of filming the first season (2004), Lilly and Mathew, (Foxy) how she called him, had an affair, but it didn't work out because Mathew was married with two little daughters...That's why Dominique hates Mathew more than Evangeline's current husband...even accusing him of hitting women...which is false.

Claire's saying Charlie's name with that huge smile never fails to make me truly weep well earned happy tears for these characters. The final seasons wittled down the main characters and had moved way past the relationships which had made us fall in love with the show, so there was something so deeply moving and rewarding that the final episode paid beautiful homage to the entire journey, especially to the characters we hadn't seen in so long and so greatly missed. Perfect!

At the age of 9 when Lost aired, I def didn’t know what shipping and fanfiction were but thanks to Charlie and Claire I learned a lot and 20 years later I still regularly enjoy fanfiction. I initially remember not liking the finale but I just finished my rewatch and now seeing how much really was resolved, I LOVE the finale. They let our favorites end up together in the end. I cried watching this Sunday and I had to come back and watch and I’m crying again. This was perfect especially since Charlie died to save her and Aaron 😭😭😭😭

0:16 The blinking and very imperceptible head-shake that Evangeline Lilly does *right* as the memories kick in is what has completely sold me on this scene for the last 14 years. It's just so quick, and so human that it's the first thing I always notice when rewatching this episode. She went from fierce to completely broadsided by the truth in barely a 30 frames, and it's captivating every time.

I'm not a religious person because I don't believe in God but I do like the idea of God. At least all good things about it. One way I just thought of as a way you can look at this series finale and this scene is that it's like a test. If you really loved the people in your life enough to be worthy of being loved you need to find them again first. If you're able to, and then when you're ready, then you get to go to heaven together.
