This is a Chinese song and it is very held dear to the people of China. Notice that there were no Chinese subtitles? Dimash has such a mesmerizing effect on the audience? He has that with us "Dears," and anyone who is being introduced to the world of Dimash! Knowing that he is out there in the world makes it feel like a better place with him in it! BTW, Please find S.OS. d'un Terrien en détress again and you will find the one you watched but it has English subtitles. The lyrics are so important to that song. You will understand and appreciate this song once you have understood the lyrics of "A soul in distress!"

He learned this song in one week to show his appreciation for the people of China and the support they gave him. Those beautiful runs he did with the high notes were done with instruments in the original version of this song. This is simply the most beautiful song I have ever heard. I listen to it every night before going to bed. Thank you for your reaction!

Dimash didn't speak or understand Chinese/Mandarin, and was still able to learn the song phonetically in only one week at the time of that performance. He wanted to honor all the people from China who reached out to him, and did the song as his special "Thank You" to all his fans there

Hi Big and Big....HAPPY BIRTHDAY Big Kai, a yankee doodle baby - many happy reactio - I mean, returns LOL Thanks! ...I recommend his performance of "Daididau" next. It is my favorite performance simply because it meant a lot to him personally to be able to perform this important Kazakh song. Here is a little bit about it. The poem (lyrics) was written by a Kazakh writer, poet, scientist and teacher Magzhan Zhumabayev (1893-1938), who was arrested and sent to prison under the Soviet regime. In the prison, they told him his wife had left him. He wrote this song about his love and his sadness. It turned out that his wife never left him (he had been lied to) and they were reunited in 1936, when he was released from prison. Unfortunately, their happiness did not last long, he was again arrested and executed in 1938 as an enemy of the state. Zhumabayev's nickname for her was Daididau. It is now considered a quintessential Kazakh song. PS Yeah, you might be lost in MPK, but you've got plenty of willing guides to Dimashstan LOL DKIFC/USA

Check out Gloria Yu who tells the backstory of this song with lyrics in English! A very important song for the Chinese! DIMASH did not speak Mandarin at that time & had 1 week to learn this song in Mandarin! I heard a native speaker say he sang so perfectly he forgot that DIMASH was not a native Chinese! ❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️
