This was Dimash's own song that he wrote when he was still in his teens - it's a love song. Currently his range (so far from a multitude of his live international performances) is 6 Octaves from F2 to a sustained D8 (which you heard him hit in this performance). 😃 [and no it's not a mic malfunction -- it's been checked and it is Dimash holding the D8 note]

Thank you, dears. This concert was n Kazakhstan, I think the name of a city is Almaty. Gakku is a name of a TV station. The writing was in Kazakh language. It uses the same alphabet as Russian, although those languages are totally unrelated. Kazakh language is actually more closely related to Turkish. Dimash is more relaxed, not being in competition and also being in his own country. I love this video. It was a magical night, the air is thick with love for Dimash. Everybody is just happy to be there or so it seems from videos and witness accounts. His performances just flew by in no time. BTW, Dimash calls his fans Dears.

Dimash even shocked his long time fans with this one, before we thought his peak was in the 7th register only but then he pulled this out of nowhere an entire octave higher. I think “confessa + diva dance” should be next!

That note was D8 with a freaking vibrato that was held for almost 5 seconds. The highest male note world record is Eb8 by Adam Lopez but it is thin, doesn't have strength and he reached it after a serious period of preparation. Dimash hit that D8 in live concert, after singing lots of songs which makes me think: "What the hell? Can he break world record? Like, seriously? What the heck?! Are you freaking human Dimash?! What the.....?!" and words slowly disappear from the mind and deep silence takes place... P.S The last and the highest note of the common 88-key piano is C8 and the D8 whistle is one full note above of the common piano...we need new piano with more keys to measure Dimash's highest..
