Been waiting for you guys to upload your next reaction! Thank you! =D "Clock Strikes" is actually featured in one of the Ryuu ga Gotoku (Yakuza in the US) games. There is no long tone in the studio version which is why the live version of this song is infinitely better. (Check the MV to compare!) This particular performance is from 2015. Nowadays, Taka consistently hits over 20 seconds on that long tone. "Clock Strikes" is one of the very, very few songs that includes Japanese lyrics that they will always (afaik) sing at concerts outside Japan, with the only other song being The Beginning. Speaking of The Beginning, it was the very last song performed at this concert. I saw you guys had it playing in the background during your live stream but have you actually had a chance to watch it? Definitely check it out if you haven't. ONE OK ROCK only has one song on the radio, and it's on satellite. Not sure if they still play it, but their song "American Girls" is/was on Hits 1 on SiriusXM, and that song was made specifically for the radio. I like the song fine (the MV is pretty hilarious), but a lot of people in the fandom don't like it, especially since Taka's voice is altered a lot and the lyrics are not quite as meaningful as, say, "We Are." But Taka looks to have so much fun performing it live and often dives into the crowd! Personally I think some of their other songs off the Ambitions album such as One Way Ticket, We Are, or Take What You Want would have better reception on the radio than American Girls. It's curious why none of their other songs ever get aired. As for your next reaction, you should really check out "Deeper Deeper" (awesome bass) or "NO SCARED" (awesome guitars) from the same performance at Yokohama Stadium. If you want something closer to "Clock Strikes," try "C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h." or "Living Dolls." Or if you want to react to a song that not many people react to, try "Let's take it someday." All these songs were performed at Yokohama Stadium. Thanks for another great reaction! PS Yesterday was OOR Day (October 9 --> 10/9 --> can be read in Japanese as "wan oku," which is the short version of the band's Japanese name, "wan okurokku"/"one o'clock"), and their official site started counting down to a couple dates in November. No one knows what it's counting down to. New album? New MV? So curious!

I really have to say Taka knows how to get the crowd going. He has that ability in him to get to sing along with a lot of their songs. And it sounds even better when the crowd joins in like the other song they did live ( WE ARE ) And it was absolutely amazing to see everyone join in in harmony in that song. The music and the harmony really went well in that song together. I even forgot to mention about the crowd singing. It’s like the know when to start and stop when One Ok Rock starts singing again. That’s impressive. It’s like the crowd rehearsed with one ok rock in this live video but I know they didn’t. But in the We Are live song not the concert one but the other video the one they had chosen people to rehearse the song to sing with them. Made it sound so nostalgic and beautiful like you were caught in a trance wishing you were there at that time and moment to sing with them IRL.

I don't know about Clock Strikes, but THE BEGINNING song was used at the end of a movie called Rurouni Kenshin. You should watch their Live performance. The movie is awesome too, by the way! First movie of a trilogy with incredible sword fight scenes.

I just timed it - Taka held that long note for 15 seconds (1.5x as long) early this year at the Tokyo Dome. I think I still like the 2015 Saitama Super Arena version with the little trill the best though. May I (again) suggest Deeper Deeper and Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer from Yokohama Stadium? I feel like a broken record but you keep asking so I keep reiterating. LOL. The chances of getting hit with copyright are high for that one. I wouldn't recommend it. The Nagisaen (2016) performances and later (2017 Ambitions Japan Tour, 2018 Ambitions Japan Dome Tour) are generally removed by Amuse or WOWOW for copyright violation.

Thanks for the reaction, (^-^; (^-^; (^-^;. Generally speaking, although it is wonderful in MV, LIVE can not be redone and because they can not edit voices, singers often have lower levels than MV. But ONE OK ROCK (TAKA) sings wonderfully even on LIVE. I like the LIVE version of their song "CRY OUT". I feel a sense of unity between them and the audience. However, since I also like their songs of the studio jam session-type, please give us a reaction for the studio jam session version of "Taking off" by all means.
