Real nice choice with this one. Basically anything they've sung at Yokohama Stadium has been absolute fire(like they even did an amazing acoustic cover for "A Thousand Miles" once). That of course includes one of the bands all-time songs "Clock Strikes". With that song though you also can't go wrong with the Official music video. A live though you definitely have to react to is *_"We Are 18 Fes ver."_* (probably the video with English subtitles). What happened was the voting age in Japan had been dropped from 20 to 18, and one of the big broadcasting stations in Japan wanted to have a performance to showcase this new "coming of age" occurrence. One Ok Rock was chosen, and the song "We Are" was inspired by the strong feelings of youth that comes with hitting adulthood. They then went a step further and incorporated the selected teenagers into their performance. It really is an amazing thing to see.

For me the reason that their Live Performance are way better than their MV's are because the emotion, energy and connection to their Fans/Audience. It was like an intimate feeling thus make the experience more personal. I hope to be part of that crowd soon and watch them live! Thanks Lost MPK for appreciating this artist. 川野雅子 it is really good. It's the whole experience that makes it special. The song is great but the speeches and the gathering of 1000, 18 year olds and the fact it was done at the 18 year olds festival that raises it to another level. It's something I would have benefitted from when I was 18 and it's something I'm glad exists now. It's such a positive thing to put out into the universe.

I'm so glad you appreciate ONE OK ROCK so much, I honestly love them and I had the luck to see them live in Milano in 2015 and it was one of the best nights in my life! A quick note on the name of the band: it's actually One o'clock Rock, though it's written as One OK Rock. The band used to book the practice hall for 1am because it was cheapest at that time. That's where they took their name from but, due to the way Japanese writing works and their playful nature, the writing of the name transformed into One OK Rock over time. They also like the fact that it sounds like the end of a countdown: 3, 2, 1... OK, ROCK! Lol. By the way, nobody minds if you don't say the correct name of the band, we know who you are referring to and that's good enough, this was just an FYI kind of thing. I'm loving you two and your unguarded reactions. We can see the excited anticipation before you even play the video and it stirs the same response in me as I wait for the music. I love your enthusiasm and all your videos, keep 'em coming please.

Another One OK Rock?! This is awesome! Glad you guys found them enjoyable. Their live presence is totally mind blowing! If you're ever in the mood for some Japanese power metal, please give Galneryus a go. They have probably one of the best guitarists in Japan/world and every other member is truly talented as well! Some songs include Angel of Salvation, Hunting for your Dream, New legend. They will definitely impress!

Big Z, I'm so glad you picked up on the double bass drum at the end because that's definitely my favourite part that isn't in the album version. Everyone is saying to react to Clock Strikes, which you definitely should listen to. But since Big Kai seems to appreciate some heaviness, I'd also recommend Deeper Deeper (like I did previously) or Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer. Speaking of rocking out and metal influences, and if we're sticking with the J-rock theme, maybe check these bands out too: Man With A Mission - Take Me Under, Seven Deadly Sins or My Hero My First Story - Fukagyaku Replace or Reviver MWAM melds rock, metal and electronic, while MFS is a bit heavier with metal influences apparent especially in the guitars. Both are pretty darn catchy.

Please, you need to check one ok rock we are 18 fes (it's was a documentary and they select people between 17 and 19 years old fot that, when you see it you would understand more) and I recommend looking for subs for that song/live. Also, it's a fact that ALL their song live are awesome and I know you're gonna love it but I recommend too kimishidai ressha and kanzen kankaku dreamer (of course LIVE). Thanks for the reaction :)

Listen.. I know people have suggested all kinds of songs but in all seriousness.. Put everything from Yokohama Stadium on that list. Every. Single. Song. is literally so good. They are way better live than they are in studio in my opinion, not Soundqualitywise.. obviously Studio quality sound is near impossible at a live concert, its just the energy that all 4 of those guys bring to a live performance that make those songs so much more enjoyable to listen to, the little things like the drummer filling in, the singer just pulling new notes out of his ass seemingly at random and still making it work. Dont get me wrong, the Studioversions are really, really good, but seeing how you really got into this live performance, just put every Yokohama Stadium song on your list really, there are a couple other songs they did live which arent in Yokohama Stadium, but pretty much all of them have been mentioned, stuff like Cry Out from Metrock, stuff from Yokohama Arena (different from Stadium).

This concert was the first time they sang this song in Japan so the crowd isn't quite as into it as they are now. Nowadays the audience will sing along very loudly, and Taka usually calls for a mosh. Taka has mentioned in an interview that Mighty Long Fall is one of the songs he wants the band to be remembered for. It's been played at every single one of their concerts since its release. at first didn't really have a good impression of japanesse band(cause some band just keep on making growling sound) but after watching this band, i was so blown away.. eventually getting into their music..one ok rock has collaborations with other bands from U.S..... please also react to; 1.
