Took a boat trip on Dingle bay a few years ago. The skipper let my son steer the boat. A party of US tourists were all sitting on one side, and we were on the other side. Fungi surfaced twice beside us. A wonderfull trip always remembered.

Another great video. You guys deserve some sponsorship from the Irish Tourist Board! I been going to Dingle for about 30 years and still love it. I never bothered chasing up seeing Fungie on a tour boat all those years as it seemed so commercialised, but with lockdown and no foreign travels I went to Dingle for a few days from Belfast in September 2020 and found myself out on land where the bay narrows before entering the sea, which as it turned out is where Fungie hung out...so at last, and with no commercial aspect, I finally saw him from the shore just 20 or 30 feet away, breaching a couple of times...and the experience was surprisingly moving. 3 weeks later he sadly vanished, and nobody has seen him since, after 37 years of him being in Dingle harbour. Like so many others worldwide who enjoyed the experience of seeing such a graceful and gregarious wild dolphin, I now feel the loss with everyone else. Enjoy the rest of your Ireland trip!

Another great episode. Loving the series. Now you just need to tow a little trailer at the back of the van, for all the drift wood Isabel seems unable to leave behind 😁 (unlike forks...)

Hey guys! New Subscriber here! Kerry is the most stunning place I have ever been! If you want a serious view when you go over to the ring of Kerry of Dingle go to Glenbeigh and drive on towards the beach Rossbeigh. Instead of turning right into the beach, follow the road up the side of the cliff face and stop just before the road begins to turn back in away from the sea. Get out of your car there and have a good look back. There isn't a view in the world that I found to match it. Love the content guys keep it up! there is no reason why you won't hit a 500k subs by the summer
@TracyCul3 жыл бұрын
I know that road and it is stunning, but I wouldn't fancy taking a van on it. I struggled in an ordinary car. But maybe Tom and Iz you could park at the beach car park at the foot of that road and walk up it. I don't think it's too far.
@LostInTransit3 жыл бұрын
Heya! Thank you so much for the tip!! We did actually drive up that road - it really was a stunner! How special that you've found your favourite view in the world
@LostInTransit3 жыл бұрын
Hey Tracy - La bamba did make it up but i can totally see what you mean about it not being suitable for vans - we were lucky not to meet anyone on the road ha! thanks for the tips!

Campervan cooking tips. Chop the spaghetti up into short strands before you cook it. If you soak it in cold water for 20 minutes before, it goes soft enough to finish cooking in one pot with the sauce. Less washing up. Fried gnocchi are awesome. Especially with beans, eggs, and cheese on top. Lidl gnocchi very good, really cheap for a big pack.
@LostInTransit3 жыл бұрын
Hi Hugh ha ok love it thanks for the tip ha we could do a vegan version gnocci with baked beans and vegan cheese on top - sounds comforting!
