Use Your Illusion I+II are arguably the best rock albums of that decade and required listening for any self respecting rock fan. It would be worth it to react to more songs from those albums. There's a reason why Gun n' Roses were so huge, you'll find that reason in the songs on these albums!
@Herbalizer28
@Herbalizer28 17 сағат бұрын
For me most songs on Appetite for Destruction are better than those on the Use Your Illusions albums..They've been overplayed..but Rocket Queen, Mr Browstone, Welcome to the Jungle, It's so easy, Nightrain, even Paradise City and Sweet Child O' Mine are great and really capture the more punkish vibe of their sound...the Use your illusions albums was Axl trying to create epic songs..and it worked for a few songs, but overall, only a few songs stand out = Estranged, Civil War, November Rain, Don't Cry, You could be mine (which was really an Appetite for destruction song..that's about it..maybe Yesterday and Knocking on Heaven's Door...so 5-7 songs worth listening to in full length 2 albums isn't great..

@fredfredburger5150 I'm not talking about popularity, I'm talking about quality of songs..but even if we go with popularity, who listens to them now?...half the songs on Appetite can still be heard on the radio and the other half are heard on specializes channels...the truth is, Izzy Stradlin was the soul of GnR and he left after the 1st album...Appetite is the best selling debut album of all time, of any genre, for a reason..there are no skips on this album.

You missed the very end..”What’s so Civil about War, anyway”…both albums have these epic songs on there. Check out Estranged.

This reaction go to great reactions from LiV. Together with, One and Disposable Heroes by Metallica, Hand of Doom, Iron Man and Snowblind by Black Sabbath, Rooster and Would by Alice in Chains, The Last in Line and Don't Talk to Strangers by Dio, all let Ryan crazy!

I like Guns, but not love them, but this song blew my mind the first time I heard it. Love it, one of my favourites in all time.

'November Rain', 'Don't Cry', 'Civil War', and 'Estranged'. Whatever you think of the idea of two massive records to digest in the UYI 1+2, those four songs alone are as epic as it gets for rock. Its insane to think they released those two albums kn the same day. Absolutely megastars.

There are a TON of bangers from G'n'R. As far as ones you guys will like, do Estranged and You Could be Mine from the same album. Then go hit pretty much all of Appetite for Destruction, all bangers but you will particularly like Rocket Queen.

One of their most underrated songs. Doesn’t get talked about enough. Imagine being twelve and hearing this for the first time in ‘91. I still get the same feeling when I hear it now.

Back in the early 90's, when this song first came on the radio, I would switch it because of the "Cool hand Luke" part. I was always in my truck when I was hearing it so it was easy to just hit another button to another staion. THEN, I heard it while I was in the garage and it wasn't as easy to switch channels and for about 2 years, I was pissed that I missed it the first 3 or 4 times it played on the radio.
