Mick Jenkins has to be one of the most under appreciated rappers of the “new generation”. The guy is just too good, it’s ridiculous how on point his writing/literary skills are.

Mick Jenkins is not “up and coming” in my opinion. That to me seems like judging the quality of his art and expression by the amount of people who is taking that same art in. He is here and has been here for a while now. His potential and creativity constantly being pushed and explored. It’s a pleasure to see you guys acknowledge him and help me catch lines and deeper meanings. Keep on waking up to Mick Jenkins. Artichoke Rap

Super random I love you guys! But was wondering if you could react to a BTS video. I know HIPHOP is your thing but maybe just try a few videos in one to see if you like. They do it all from r&b, pop, to hard rap like Eminem. It's a complete rabbit hole you've been warned. If you have never heard of them before there are 3 rappers and 4 singers. They're pretty much the biggest boy band in the world. If you React I suggest doing maybe 3 or 4 videos in one reaction. ARMY will support you and help you with any questions. They're Korean and its technically Kpop but I consider them genreless. Here's the videos I suggest to do in 1 swoop so you can see their versatility plus I know you love hip hop and bars and they definitely have bars especially the RAP LINE.[RM,SUGA,JHOPE] MIC DROP STEVE AOKI REMIX MV UGH! LYRIC VIDEO FAKE LOVE JHOPE-CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP AGUST D- AGUST D (off of rapper Suga of BTS mixtape) RM- DO YOU AND JOKE WITH SUBS YOU HAVE TO SEE THE BARS O HONESTLY SUGGEST DOING 1 SONG FROM EACH RAP LINE MEMBER RM, SUGA, AND JHOPE Cypher pt 1,2,3,4 LYRIC VIDEOS Boy With Luv FT HALSEY DOPE DNA Cypher 2017 Medley JUST A FEW SONGS TO PICK FROM FOR AN INTRO THE SONGS AT THE TOP ARE MORE HIPHOP INSPIRED BECAUSE I KNOW YALL WILL LOVE BREAKING THESE LYRICS DOWN If you do react dont forget to turn on your subtitles because the boys have real messages in their songs. They have so much content its ridiculous maybe something to keep yall busy in this crazy time. Hope you're staying safe. Btw FUN FACT BIGHIT does not copyright their videos so there's no need to cut any official MV from BigHit or Bangtan TV. They consider it publicity so you can enjoy. They also throw in English in alot of the songs. Hope you do it if not it's cool too just thought I'd try because I really think you guys will love them. Sorry for the book lol. #ARMY

one of my favorite things in this song is how the chorus is said with very different vocal inflections. the second time he says "cockroaches will live through anything" it is much more aggressive sounding, it is a good way to show rising action in the song which I always thought was subtle but appreciated the artistry behind it.
