I have a theory about Chris Stapleton. Everybody knows that R&B and Country music are closely related, One night R&B and Country got drunk and became kissing cousins and the result was a mutant child with the vocal ability to wield the power of the gods themselves. He uses this power to strike at the core of people and move their souls. This is just my theory. LOL

They analyze the songs they're listening to with great detail and you can definitely notice if they're really enjoying what's being listened to. It's also cool to see that "white" music is not so unknown to the black community anymore, due to guys like them. So, here in miserable 2020 when the pandemic and racial divide is devastating all of us, it's really nice to see harmony among folks with different colors who are connected by one simple thing: MUSIC.

Man i never heard this dude 'till I saw him on your channel. I haven't heard a country artist I could get behind since the 00's. I'm checkin Chris on Spotify immediately, this shit was fire. FIRE. That's what a good country song is supposed to sound like! Country's been through what Hip Hop has been goin through w mumble rap, lost all interest. Maybe there's artists I've been sleepin on, def glad I took the time to check ya'lls reaction to this.

Just a small tidbit, Chris Stapleton has a degree ( I think a masters) in Engineering! He went to college first then began his music career! Thank God he chose music! He also plays all the great guitar riffs you guys like. And if you get to see him live, you can literally feel his voice in your chest! It’s great!

Stapleton's music influences range from outlaw country and bluegrass to rock and roll and blues.[71] Editors from NPR and Paste magazine described his sound as a blend of country, classic rock and Southern soul.[72][73] Before going solo, Stapleton led the progressive bluegrass band The SteelDrivers and the rock and roll band The Jompson Brothers.[74] His first solo album Traveller is an old-school country, Southern rock and bluegrass record,[75][76] and his second From A Room: Volume 1 focuses on country, blues and roots rock.[77] He played the acoustic guitar and electric guitar for both albums.[78][79] Stapleton is a soul singer[80] with a tenor vocal range. After attending one of his concerts in 2015, Los Angeles Times' writer Randy Lewis opined his singing recalls "the note-bending style of country that traces to Merle Haggard and Lefty Frizzell and the gut-wrenching expressionism of blues and R&B perfected by Ray Charles", while his guitar performances elicits "memories of Texas blues rocker Stevie Ray Vaughan."[5] Stapleton has cited Charles, Otis Redding and Freddie King as some of his music influences,[81][82] along with Kentucky-based country artists, Keith Whitley, Dwight Yoakam and Patty Loveless: "the list goes on and on. Those names are just part of life in Kentucky. You can't help but be aware of them and be influenced by them."[12]

Hi guys just found your channel and love it! Some of my very close cousins actually used to play with JT (the bass player) and chris when they lived here in Kentucky about 20 years ago. I live in morehead right beside the same place they used to jam and grew up playing with the same folks they did. I can tell you there is ALOT of blues that used to come from these guys. Lots and lots of Hendrix and stevie ray etc. They moved to nashville a few years later to be the Jompson Brothers one thing, led to another now we have chris Stapleton. In my opinion JT is a fundamental necessity to,this band they have been playing for years together and you can tell. Back when, they played around, here i was only about 4 or 5 years old. But i will never forget hearing them. 🔥
