I've been missing my mom and dad so much as of late. They passed away 9 years ago, but it always hurts like it was yesterday. If my father was still alive, he would have loved oblivion. He is a Castlevania and final fantasy kind of guy so this particular kind of music reminds me of him. Mom would sit next to him and watch him play, or be reading a harlequin novel listening to the music. Big ups to the people who still play oblivion.

Honestly, I still prefer Oblivion to Skyrim, down to the graphics. Now that Skyrim is showing its age, I can compare them with more scrutiny. Skyrim had hype for the graphics because it was new and next gen. But now I need mods to enhance the game. I have yet to actually mod Oblivion, and still enjoy it more.

I was often in this place as a child, where I roamed free. I remember the sunsets and the shiny starry sky at night. The fear of venturing into a dark cave, getting lost in a dungeon was always offset by the sight of a familiar tavern and the warm glow of the city's lamplights. I often miss Tamriel and all the friends I've met there. To think that I started off in this world as a mere prisoner...
