awww Jane had a bad feeling that's why she went to look for her.. that moment can only be explained with her heart, because before that he was not interested in accompanying Lisbon to the tour when she asked him and it seems that he was still calm there in his chair with his book, hoping confident that she would return but when talking to her he felt that there was a danger and he went looking for her, alone, without weapons, without training, without being a policeman...!! he risked himself for her and saved her. 💕😻🙏 God how epic these episodes were... the best season finale without a doubt the season 3 finale.

*Sniffs*. Jane cares about Lisbon! The Jisbon shipper in me is screaming "Awww!!!" You can see the concern etched on his face through the whole scene. And when he sees her with the bomb strapped to her chest, he looks like he is about to cry. OMG SO CUTE!!! This was THE BEST episode so far. I cried a few times, haha. That's embarassing... :b

this is the first time that red john goes after lisbon to threaten jane. it's done subtly, through a red herring, but it was actually just as crucial for rj as the second time. that's why jane was so terrified when the bomber says 'everything ive done is for a reason.' this proved that jane would die to save lisbon, and also the part when he did the ruse of almost confessing to her would have been gold to rj if the bomber would have survived to give it to him. i think jane saying that was his subconscious knowing what was going on before his conscious self knew it.

when i saw lisbon legs on the floor i was like: "O MY GOD SHE'S DEAD!".. when i saw the bomb vest, i was like: "that's even worse, dud, if you want lisbon dead then shoot.. don't do that! it was a joke!" I'M IN LOVE WITH JANE'S CAR!!! and the couch ofcourse :D

@Ashtree28 Don't be embarassing, haha. The finale made me emotional a few times too... I was like "Awwww" several times and my Jisbon heart beated faster! ^^ When he sees the bomb on her, he is SO worried about her, he thinks "NO! Lisbon! Not you!". And I love how he cares about her when they're on the phone. He's so worried about her that he goes to check on her. Jane would be lost without his Lisbon! :) (Yes, I'm a Jisbon shipper, lol).

A lot of Jisbon denialists still or people who struggle to comprehend. Take note: 1. Lisbon wasn't calling for backup, so Jane was concerned. 2. Jane's scared of gunfights etc and doesn't carry a weapon. He does NOT consider himself a police, but went anyway. 3. Even for close coworkers we don't go into iffy neighbors, enter abandoned buildings, with a yet-unknown brutal killer on the loose.

during my mentalist re-watch, i realized this is the most important time rj goes after lisbon intentionally, and does it even more manipulatively making it more crucial-through a red herring. he did it to prove jane would die for her, and if the bomber had lived to tell rj his almost confession it would have been gold for rj. she could really be dead if that happened. i think janes confession ruse was his subconscious knowing what was really going on before his conscious self did

i was reading this article on season finale and the author suggested that red john would be jane's alter ego....i have always been a HUGE jane fan but last of episodes of this season was very sketchy, specially at the end, the man who is suppose to be "red john" [who i dont believe its actually red john] tells him that noone knows who we are! weird, what u guys think?

@nagarajanamrutha OMG, i would so hate it if the writers decided to make Jane Red John but so many things align with this theory though (may be thats what the writers want us to believe) and some how i am not so convinced the person Jane shot was red john...i think its someone who red john wanted everyone to think it was him.....considering the way red john is portrayed in the show, i dont think he would come out like that, knowing Jane would do something! cant wait for next season!

I know, everyone is obsessed with the notion that he followed her because he got worried, and talking about his facial expression when he saw her but I find it a normal gesture in the caring department - they work together and you'd be doing it for any close co-worker. Of course he cares but it also caught my attention that at the moment he saw her he did NOT run towards her (which you'd be normally doing if you're so attached to that person). Yet, HE KEPT HIS DISTANCE, even before realizing there was a bomb... (that was a bit odd to me)!
