Finally someone who does review with equipment and most importantly best traits I think daftness is better than shroud and hobbit violin with speed trait is better than the rope with heal

Excellent review! just wanna say that you can refine crap that you're gonna replace. As long as you strengthen the new to 1* with a throwaway and use the old gold star gear to Refine the new to 1gold, you get all the gear for refining and strengthening - nothing is lost.

Can someone here explain why it's good for Eowyn to have items that give speed stat to mounted units, and not herself? Mounted units already have a high amount of speed, so why does more speed make them better?

So basically Eovyn is good, but only in Rohan, Gondor or Lindon/Arnor (Bree riders)? I have her at r10 and wondering how much worse she will be with only Catas + Cavs.

I think she can be solid anywhere. but she gets a head start in certain factions and depending on what hirable troops are around. Season 5 elite skills may increase her viability too

I would say Eowyn. From what I've heard, Eomer can start being pretty nasty at higher respect so at r5 for a T2 mounted commander I'd go with Theoden, but if you've only got Eomer I'd use Eowyn until you can get him a little higher.

R20 Eowyn here, I build mine a bit differently. Max Rohirim and subtrees, max white lady and +men, max Dernhelm +last 6 in cripple. This makes Eowyn do almost as much damage as her units, all while her units are fully buffed in their damage potential. Combined she and her units can easily push 400k damage output, when enemies have that much health for her to clear. I don't like frontline rescue because the ability is a big gamble, and can easily be wasted. Eowyn get stunned or silenced on round 3? No heal. Commander Madness? Big heal goes to your enemy. Only one of your units get damaged? Heal cut by 2/3. Hey, if you manage to pull off a heal equally on all three units, it's great, but a lot of the time the ability doesn't actually give you close to its full benefit. Damage on the other hand is always reliable, and it in turn reduces the amount of damage enemies can deal back to you, saving your health all the same.

@@coachmaxsfootballvideos8188 Rohan this season, so Marshals, Cavaliers and Catas. If you aren't rohan, I would sub in Bree riders (or some swan knights if Gondor). She is best with 3 unit comp of Mannish cavalry.

@@zr60 I would go with the rangers shroud, because it has might and speed while the war born battle plate has just the might. Neither are bad choices though, but if you’ve got both to choose from that’s what I’d do

@@allthingsmiddleearth Okay, thanks! It's kind of tough to choose, cos battleplate does give speed directly to melee units for Rohirrim. I find the shroud slightly better, but I got two battleplates with better passive (Strength from dexterity) and 1 shroud with okayish passive ( The reduce focus damage one)

Why not use the helmet with the Grinding Assault skill where it adds more attack to your eowyn's cavalry?

Because grinding assault is for light cavalry only
