For your viewers information, In February I was admitted to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital for one week, with two days in the ICU for Pneumonia, I had excellent care, the cost was very reasonable at 160,000 Baht. This included all meals, lab work, ICU, x-rays and treatment. I had an excellent Doctor who spoke very good english, much of the staff also had good english skills.

Trev, your speciality is "same same but different". It is not easy to convey honesty and truth but you do in spades and it is what makes your vids stronger. It's your USP. it is also why you have to be a little cautious in your recommendations; if you recommend a restaurant and one of your followers has a bad meal it is not such a big thing but a tattoo shop is a much more permanent thing so I understand and applaud why you don't recommend such places. When you do your walkabouts, it feels like i'm going for a stroll with you and having a chat :)

Hello Trevor, I have watched dozens of your videos and live streams and although I knew that you had good musical taste I have only just realized that you are a drummer. I was also in the 1960's but I have ruptured ligaments in both shoulders plus age related arthritis now which slows me down a bit, although I do have a small Tama kit at home. stayed at the One Bay Breeze (2nd&honey) 11/22 to 11/30, fairly nice inside the rooms, AC works good, but it is a work in progress, wi-fi is a little spotty, food is ok, gym is not open yet unfortunately, but fitness 7 real close next to Robinhood, the price I paid was $ 1500 baht a night, hot water was a little spotty too, but overall ok, Also had A7 hotel (2nd&7/1) room during my stay which was PURE VALUE! and like 15' across street from 3 good bars! LOL.

Going to be really interesting this high season. Some places will do great, but many more will go under, flight prices deterring a lot of people, but the prices of the entertainment in many places is crazy compared to what it was pre C19, they are pricing themselves out of the market!

Flight prices?? I thought the same I’d been using sky scanner and it was pulling flights for 2k …but I managed to find flights for 600 doing direct to buying from the airport ( Heathrow) with flight time of 17 hours I’ve not been yet but looking into coming out there so can’t speak on the entertainment side of things.

The Apex and Lek Hotels have been in Pattaya for at least 30 years. I've never stayed at either but have always heard good things about both. Sad to see that the old Diana Hotel is gone.

Pattaya memorial hospital is no longer cheaper than BBK hospital. Having visited both within the past month I was charged similar rates for the treatment I was having. When memorial quoted me a one night stay to administer antibiotics on a drip I was quoted between 30k to 35k for the night. That ain't cheap. Since I require more treatment was cheaper for me to fly back home.

Re the Pocari Sweat drink i think people were concerned about the amount of Sugar in it for someone who is trying to lose weight. Every 500ml bottle contains about 6.5 teaspoons of sugar so its not an ideal drink for people on a diet!

Wrong massage. Down here in Jomtien. Wanted a foot massage, but taken by this lovely lady into a dark room with velvet like curtains,. Can't speak Thai, but she was talking to her friend in the next cubicle. Her client wanted an oil massage but turned down her requests to have a shower first. 15 minutes, job done for him. Still jet lagged, I fell asleep. Opposite Emily Restaurant on Jomtien Soi 7. 200 baht, my tip of 40 was probably mean.
