I saw them play live in London earlier in the year, and it the most positive and uplifting concert I have ever been to. These young ladies have talent, lots of energy and real stage presence.

I understand the "Victory" is celebrating their successful tours of the US and Europe. Having watched a number of their tour videos, they had sell-out crowds, made lots of new fans, and most important they enjoyed sight seeing in the countries they were in.

I like how the drummer has a tom, a floor tom, a snare, and a bass drum plus her cymbals, but she still pulls off impressive fills. Iree (all red hair, all smiles) always plays that wah pedal, and I love that natural finish on her ESP. I believe y’all have already seen “Fearless,” so I would recommend “Stand Up” or “Blaze” next if you want to hear another rocker or “Reminisce” if you want to hear a ballad. “Reminisce” is a cover where the song’s writer makes an appearance in the video, but it’s a beautiful song that shows off just how good the singer is.

'Reminiscence' is a great Rolling Quartz 💎 cover. Another excellent RQ 💎 song is their cover of 'Always Remember Us This Way' by Lady Gaga. The cover really shows the beauty of Jayoung's vocals. It also shows Jayoung's talent playing keyboards.

They are all eye candy, especially the drummer, and they sure use it to their advantage. I don't know which is more true: the camera loves the drummer or the drummer loves the camera.

Just saw this video for the first time the other day. Several songs in, and I'm really liking this band. I agree with Mrs. Coach about the drummer, she's good, and she's got attitude 🤘🤘😎. She is also correct about the red guitar, it is a bass. Have a suggestion in J-rock that you might like to check out, band is called "East of Eden", try the song "Evolve", the band includes a violinist in addition to standard rock instruments.

Really hoping you will explore the wonderful world of Rolling Quartz. They are Hyunjung on guitar (blue hair) Iree on guitar (red hair) Arem on bass, Yeongeun on drums and Jayoung on vocals. They have a bunch of original songs which are all very good. They have also done several great covers. I recommend that you check out "Fearless", "Holler", "Reminiscence", "Sing your heart out", "Azalea", "Higher" and, well pretty much everything they have done.

Mrs Coach is still thinking about this. Coach is distracted by the young ladies. That just about sums up my thoughts 😁They are very talented for sure and you just have to like a talented female drummer. Great honest reaction once again, cheers Rich

With the bands we've heard, there are definitely a lot of talented female drummers. Not only this group, but Band-Maid, Nemophila, LOVEBITES, The Warning, etc. We also loved the rock band Vixen back in the day. They knew how to rock it, as well.

there is a "Victory by Rolling Quartz (Close up - Drums Yeong Eun)" version - obviously it's all footage just of the drummer and it is fire. interesting that Mrs Coach pointed out the bass player as well because those two are my bias members. great reaction as always.

In the last video, Mrs. Coach commented she really liked Jayoung's vocal. I think "Reminiscence" best showcases her vocal ability as well as a taste of her piano skill, even though it's not one of their own originals.

The Red-haired Lady (Iree) is playing guitar!!!!!! The Bassist (Arem) has mixed black and red hair!!!!!
@chrisbennett62364 ай бұрын
Their sound comes from an active drum set, 2 independent guitar lines, powerful and colorful vocals wrapped in bassline that gives all the other elements a deeper and melodic rolling wave sound. All of them are top-notch in their fields. Ja Young and Arem write most of vocals. Jeong Eun's drums sets the pace and flow. IREE and Jung Hyun write all of their own guitar lines/rifts. I only know of 2 songs that all 5 ladies wrote the lyrics for: Azalea, which you can tell by their body language is a song that means a lot to them. Red Wine, like Azalea, is completely driven by emotion and experiences. These are the only 2 times I'm aware of that all 5 collectively wrote the lyrics.

Rolling Quartz approaches rock the same way K-pop approaches pop. In a deconstructivist way, looking at it from an angle no one thought to look from before... Their song Nazababara is good example of that

I know you've only heard the 2 songs, so here is some basic info: - The fanbase is called "Diadem" - The members are: Iree (5:43, guitar), Arem (4:42, bas), Jayoung (1:52, singer), Yeongeun (2:18, drums) and Hyunjung (3:14, guitar) - They debuted in 2020. Rolling Quartz don't have that many songs yet unfortunately, but the ones they have are very good. They have also done a couple of covers that are well worth checking out. They are going on a tour in Europe in January/February (I will be seeing them live then, wohoo!). Rock is not a big genre in Korea, so to even get this big is quite a feat for a group playing this kind of music. Next stop on your journey should probably be Fearless: Fearless: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4fTYqKca79jqNE Blaze (if you want to check out something live): kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4fTYqKca79jqNE

If you don't like rock too much at first, probably jump in to check Nazababara first, that's waaaaaay more pop even it polarised the fans drastically. But I guess it helps to be chosen as bridging for the non rock enjoyers imo. Yeongeun as the drummer literally chillin in the song. The fact that the song polarised fans a lot, they didn't choose it to be performed in concert, at least what I've seen from full video of their concert in Amsterdam. They even prefer their official cover remake (Azalea from Maya, Good Night from Dreamcatcher, Sing Your Heart Out from Crying Nuts), mashup cover (Pink Drop from Blackpink's Pink Venom and BTS' Mic Drop), and other covers (Bad Romance-Lady Gaga, Misery Business-Paramore, Zitti E Buoni-Måneskin, Helena-My Chemical Romance, Metal Heart-Accept, and short version of Smells Like Teen Spirit-Nirvana) over Nazababara which is their own song even as title track of their second EP.

[NOT RELATED TO THE VIDEO] IZ*ONE was formed through Mnet's competition show called Produce 48. The group was composed of twelve members : Kwon Eun-bi (The leader of IZ*ONE), Jang Won-young (The maknae of IZ*ONE) (IVE member), Sakura Miyawaki (Japanese) (LE SSERAFIM member), Nako Yabuki (Japanese), Hitomi Honda (Japanese), Jo Yu-ri, Choi Ye-na, An Yu-jin (The leader of IVE), Kang Hye-won, Lee Chae-yeon (ITZY Chaeryeong's older sister), Kim Min-ju, and Kim Chae-won (The leader of LE SSERAFIM). The group debuted in 2018 with 'La Vie en Rose' MV. Unfortunately, the group disbanded in 2021. My recommendation : "A Guide to IZ*ONE: THE MOVIE" by LKTV 록희티비

What could be better than the combination of the best vocals in the world and the best soundtracks in the world of cinema in a great show!? Please react to a grandiose performance (very big show, more than 100 musicians on stage) - Diana Ankudinova. Art of Hans Zimmer Soundtrack from the movie Dune The first Dune film, released in 2021, received 6 Oscars out of 10 Oscar nominations. Hans Zimmer - film score composer and music producer. He has won two Oscars and four Grammys, and has been nominated for three Emmys and a Tony. Zimmer was also named on the list of Top 100 Living Geniuses. Full video name: Diana Ankudinova. Art of Hans Zimmer Soundtrack from the movie Dune (the best version from St. Petersburg) This video is from Diana's second official channel - "Diana Ankudinova Life" This channel only features live performances by Diana and there are no copyright restrictions.

While I recommend Diana big time, I don’t think this is a good _first_ reaction for Diana. Even with possible claims, I think “Can’t Help Falling in Love” is still a better introduction. It shows off her range and power while the Dune video is her blasting wordlessly. It’s a great video, just not the best introduction.
@monolit734 ай бұрын
I have already made a recommendation for Can't Help Falling in Love several times on this channel. And if they don’t respond to this, then I try other options. In addition, performances on shows are blocked, and many reactors do not want to protect their videos from automatic blocking by KZbin.

Nice to see more and more women rock groups. I like equality. In fact I think they would prefer to be known as a rock group as I know some female groups do not like the distinction between men and women. Fair do's as talent should be based on talent and not gender. Last weekend it was the regular Glastonbury Festival in the UK. It is one of the biggest Festivals in the UK. It has been running most years (not every year) since 1971. A Indonesian three piece Rock/Metal Group called Voice Of Baceprot (VOB) played at Glastonbury. They have played USA and Europe and possibly other areas in the world. They are quite unique as their religion is Muslim. The group comprises of three females and they are quite political and unique. The videos to God Allow Me (Please) To Play Music and also (Not) Public Property are very good. They have some similarities to Babymetal in that they are unique , but are not like Babymetal in other ways. Baceprot in English means Noisy. They are not extreme in their music as it is easy on the ear.

Quartz is a rock, but it doesn't roll. I think that they could get more attention if they'd feature their sexy side a bit. To that, I'm beginning to suspect that the drummer may not be a guy. This is a group that Coach listens to with his eyes. That's all the one-liners I got. ;)
