Noticing a lot more singing lately... Sounds like you're hitting the right notes in this one, as in you can sing. I, as a fellow "non singer" commend this new JJ sound. Keep it up good sir, adds a nice new element to the vids.

JJ: Thanks for this. Good one. I was thinking about the process of learning tunes (after hearing them or knowing them). Here is my take. First step is listening and figuring out chord progression. Second step is learning the progression and playing it...getting the feel of the tune. Third step is making the tune your own, playing freely usually with written notes. Fourth step is practicing the tune enough to play w/o notes or lyrics. Lots of tunes make it through step 2, some make it through step 3 and get performed at least a handful of times, fewer make it to the permanent repertoire. Interesting to track the evolution of learned tunes. Your vids have open lots of doors. Thank you.

Way cool. I always thought he helped Nicolette Larson’s career with this. She was (IMO) second only to Linda Ronstadt for sounding GREAT with his voice. Comes A Time is a terrific album!!

Irrelevant to the video, but have you been using the Classic 50 a lot, or are you sticking to the Vypyr?

@jamesjames92753 жыл бұрын
Between the two channels, I've posted more than 3,100 videos. I'd estimate at least 2,500 of those are demonstrations. They're pretty easy to find with the search function.
