I have a hard time finding the words to describe how incredibly beautiful I think Anna Lynne's voice is, but the hyperventilation scenes in this video remind me of the first time I heard one of her songs. I literally felt short of breath. I've never heard any other singer that had that type of physiological impact on me. It's almost as if she's not of this world, but I am happy she is because her voice is a gift to humanity.

I love the imagery in this song: "My heart is the color it makes / when buildings reflect on the water" and "I like it when there is hardly any light / and the morning is fighting in my eyes." The light juxtaposed with the dark remind me of yin and yang, as if the light is battling the darkness, trying to vanquish it, but neither can exist without the other. The refrain is especially powerful: "I wrestle you in every thought," and "I wrestle you into every thought." The subtle differences between the first and second times show a kind of bitter-sweet ambivalence, of fighting with the memory of a lost love, and also of fighting to hold onto that memory. Beautiful writing and musicianship.

Been such a fan since I found you with TW in 06 (so many long long walks with the ipod...) and I can't remember a time now that your voice wasn't a part of my life. I confess to still loving the older music but you constantly surprise and keep on growing - such a beautiful thing to hear. The hyperventilation scenes here are stunning! For someone I used to frustrate over not being able to find 'official' videos of in the early days, these scenes alone made it worth the wait - geez you're good with the camera, could have been an actor.
