Lotus 7 Birkin S3 Frozen Clutch Stuck Tight

Typhoon Gaemi flooded my car last friday here in Taiwan... There are tons of cars got destroyed by flood I was lucky that water level is not high enough to get into my engine but high enough to wet the clutch pad. I was able to start the engine without hydrolock and drove the car back to my garage to dry the interior. 2 days later.. the clutch pad sticks to the flywheel hard...😅😅 I just released the stuck clutch pad using this technique! It really works!

Always learn some handy tips or tricks from your channel 👍 once out in the yard it sounds ace aswell. Off to see my uncle tomorrow who has a yellow mgb and if the suns out I will be going for a spin.... can't wait!

My 1981 Ford Granada clutch stuck after standing 6 months in a dry garage. Watched this video then tried it. It took 3 good applications of the brakes in third gear to break it free. What a relief ! I used axle stands as well as a trolley jack to keep the wheels clear of the floor, not safe to just rely on the jack. Thanks for putting up this video.

I know he explained in the video but im kinda slow. So do you have to rev a car in 1st gear and then stomp on the brake while you foot is on the clutch

I just freed off the stuck clutch on my Morris traveller thanks to this video 🙏 Slightly hairy on a little scissor jack with someone parked in front of me and with a very spongy brake pedal, but mission complete nonetheless!!

Nice - so good this didn't require the engine to come out. My Birkin S3 (2005) had a slave cylinder seal failure that I didn't get a choice, engine out or no fun. Chose the engine out option! :-) Well done guys!

Great advice, I have a lovely 1967 Wolseley Hornet that has been in the garage since 1993, bought by my mother from an uncle who bought it new. Engine turns over just fine and I managed to sort out a new fuel tank, but the clutch is stuck like this. Hoping to free it up in the next few days.

My miata clutch is frozen too but only was 1 week without turning on its convenient change the clutch or do the procedure of yogur video?
