Lou in LOOE, Cornwall | April 2023 | Walking from West Looe to East Looe and the beach

Join me in lovely Looe for a walk along the river from West Looe to East Looe in Cornwall.
We will start at the Sardine Factory on the West Side. I will give you a few fascinating facts about things we see as we walk along the river, over the bridge, through the shops and out to the harbour and the beach.

Terrific video Lou(ise)! You really caught it on a fabulously sunny day. It looked amazing on screen. If you go back that way again, as well as coastal walks left and right out of the town you can also do river walks and get off at one if the little halts between Looe and Liskeard. They are halts so you have to stick your hand out to get the train to stop. Brilliant work 👍🙂Take care, Paul

What a lovely video again Louise! Looe looks just LOVELY - so picture postcard. I’d love to do some of those trips too especially to see the seals. So many great places to eat too. And I cannot believe the weather! Ps. Love the line “there are lots of loos in Looe - I’m a Lou jn Looe.” 😂

Lovely walk round Looe & what great weather. Stayed overnight there many years ago. Just like a lot of these places still looks the same (thank goodness) ! Brightening up a wet Sunday, thanks 😊

Lou, Looe Island was the home of two sisters, Babs and Evelyn Atkins who bought the island also known as St. George’s Island in 1965. Great video as always.

Lou is looking for the loo in Looe hehe 🤣 I've not heard of Looe before but did recognise some areas and couldn't place where from - so could well have been death in paradise I've seen them. It looks like you caught it on a fabulous day!

Been going to Looe for over40 years .never get bored .go at least once or twice a year .it's a great place for a base to travel around cornwall

Ah! That’s so sweet that she started barking when she heard the barking in the video! It’s just so relaxing there and so idyllic in the sunshine. The water was so blue … just like the med! I picked perfect day to go! Only even considered going down there at 10pm the night before I went! Very spontaneous trip!

Great video Louise, lovely place and cracking weather. How did you find parking at Tiverton PW? I seem to remember it was a bit of a struggle to find a parking place the last time I went there.

Thanks so much Sue! Yes, the weather was just the best I could have hoped for! So sunny ☀️ Parking was not too bad! I was quite relieved having purchased parking before arriving using the parking app (I seem to remember it was Apcoa) as I have previously struggled with parking machines there and also struggled to pay online once there. Thankfully the overflow car parks were almost completely empty as I left at around 7am on a .Saturday morning.
