They always say that the worst place to meet someone is in a bar. Well, my husband and I met in a bar, fell in love that very night, and have been married for 32 years. I guess the trick to meeting someone in a bar is, to make sure the other person is not a heavy drinker, or an alcoholic. Neither of us were drinkers; we just happened to go out one night, and meet in a bar. I'm sorry about the loss of your parents. It sounds like they had a great love for each other. My parents were also married 58 years, until my dad passed away 20 yrs ago. My mom is 99 yrs old now, and still misses the love of her life every day. My oldest brother was also married 58 yrs, until his wife recently passed away. I hope my husband and I are able to enjoy each other for a long time to come. He is the love of my life, and I am his.

And your mom is 99?? You are very blessed! I lost my dear mom unexpectedly to cancer at the young age of 81 in 2007 and her death devastated our family. And it sounds like your mother is surrounded by a lot of love and care and that is great for her and all of you. NO greater gift than that!

And of all the couples I ever saw on this show, they were my MOST FAVORITE!! Some have said that the show pressured the two of them to stay together but only Lou, Angela and the show know for sure. I tend to think that Angela was much more serious to settle down than Lou was and thus, they went their separate ways. Anyhow, Google Lou's name to find out more information about him. Maybe Wikipedia can offer even more information. All I know is that they were my MOST FAVORITE COUPLE of them all on this show.

It's disgusting, tbh because the producers make it look like they're genuine single people looking for dates yet you'll always see: "they did not have a second date" on the 1 month later thing.... It's such a sham.
