Just saw commercial. It sent a chill thru my spine. I was 9 or 10 when it first aired. I'm almost 40. Brings back good memories though, almost made my eyes water ❤

This is surely bringing back a memory, and thanks to my green recipe folder, I still have all of WGN's logo designs from its 75 years including the one old number 9 and Lou Rawls singing in this promo, and your sister station WGN America (Now NewsNation) which formerly served as the national feed of this TV station, Chicago's Very Own WGN-TV Channel 9. Thanks for a historic promo in a rich TV history.
