but luke walton has hella clout. his dad is bill walton and luke walton won championship with kobe. JJ was a better player but doesn't have the pedigree that luke walton had. and at least luke walton was assistant coach on GS. JJ is a cool podcaster but I don't know if he would be successful in LA. Lakers need to rebuild anyway so it's a bad job to take.

Bringing TY Lue would be huge mistake. Yes they won a chip together in cleveland, but thqt was with a PRIME Lebron. Lets also not overlook that Ty Lue has had really good clipper teams throughout his tenure in LA culminating with 4 future hall of famers this year: Paul George, Kawhi, James Harden qnd Russel Westbrook and yet still couldnt get out of the first round

I dont think Ty Lue is the right coach for Lakers. Lakers need to go for size in players this year to contend with nuggets and wolves next year. and they need a defensive minded coach, like Mitch from Minnesota, or Jason Kidd from Dallas
