"People will always have time to tell you when you're fucking it up, they'll never have time to tell you you're doing good, they'll sometimes make time to tell you you're doing great." Very validating to hear as a young professional and artist in general. Veterans in the industry will rarely say when they think you did good because they have 20 other people to talk to.

Thank you for watching. This part also resonated with me as well. It was a great reminder to hear this. 🤩

Kudos to Lou Wilson carefully explaining how he was able to live at his family's home AND that he already had a community, so he had a BUNCH of things going for him already. He's not discounting the difficulty of making it work as an actor and writer, he's acknowledging how important it is to use whatever you can to stack the deck in your favor. AND he still took regular work to make ends meet so he could pursue his career. PERSIST on hope, LIVE on hard work, using whatever you can.

Thank you for watching! Wow, what a great way to summarize his journey. Couldn't agree more! 🤩

amazing that even as a small channel you're able to reach out and get to do interviews with such popular people

Thank you for watching! Luckily, I also perform improv and sketch comedy here in LA and the comedy community is very tight knit. So, some of my guests I see pretty regularly. Very grateful to all of them for their time. 🤩🙏

@@ittakesauniverse oh, that's lovely. Watching from afar I can't necessarily gauge that sort of thing so it is lovely to know that they are so active in the community. You're a good interviewer and I hope you continue to grow and succeed :))

Lou is a treasure. Good on him and hope everyone is staying safe ITAU: please eiher get 2 mics or remix the dual audio to both be stereo. Having lou on left mono mostly and you on the right mono mostly is really harsh to listen to.

@@ittakesauniverse it's a reference to game changer! here's a link to the exact moment, but def recommend watching the whole compilation, haha: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r32qn2upl9CVfMksi=yHm98TsutKlP5KI5&t=346 thanks for having Lou on the channel! @@ittakesauniverse haha no prob!! also I recognize that sending you a Lou Dropout compilation is still confusing af, so I found the whole Sam-Says episode if you're interested in some weird gameshow-style improv: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rIWQq42pn9yNgc0si=QHlWJIfjuz2W6zkz It's not like Dimension 20 it's short!!! 🤣
