Very well optioned car, and super rare in the White Hat Special. The thing about buying a Mr Norm's car was they were specially tuned out the door, and any Mopar owner could order all kinds of performance upgrades right from his dealership to make their car as fast as they could afford it. Mr. Norm did what the factory couldn't or wouldn't with Hemi Darts, 383 and 440 A bodies, superchargers and more. He did it 1st.

Funny story Lou; When my little brother bought his 1968 Road Runner in the mid 90’s it was already in good condition but need some original parts to make it perfect. He hunted everywhere looking for the small back-up lens that glows red when you put it into reverse. It took over a year to track an NOS part down and the price was ridiculous for a little piece of plastic….but he had to have it! You show it turning on in this video. Thx again Lou!

My uncle had an original 69 Hemi complete engine & we put it on a stand also. A dodge dealer wanted his parts business for his collision center because we did 35-40 major collisions a week out of there! He gave them a 528 Hemi crate engine parts number & said, that’s what I want if you want my business. I took it out of the blue plastic crate it came in that following Monday morning when it got delivered! My uncle had a 1965 AF/X Coronet & I put the new 528 in the car & had it running by Wednesday! Another great video Lou…💪🏻🙏🏻✌🏻🏁

You couldn't option a Charger better than this one. B5 blue, a 426 Hemi, and a 4 speed! Add to that Mr. Norm Kraus is your neighbor. I bet that man had stories to tell. I always liked the story how Chrysler told him you couldn't put a big block in a Dart. Legend goes Mr. Norm told his guys to stuff a 383 from a B-body into a Dart. A few days later, he drove it from Chicago to Highland Park and asked the engineers to come out and look at his Dart. Next thing you know, Chrysler was putting big blocks in A-bodies.

¡Saludos cordiales Lou!

Love this blue/white color combo with the R/T package with the Hemi engine, buckets and console 4 spd. We (my Dad and I) test drove a '69 in this color combo but it wasn't the R/T and it was only the 318 engine. Our '68 triple green Charger (383) was in the shop getting a small dent in the front fender tip (from driveway moving around) fixed. Same evening we almost bought a '69 Chevelle SS 396 out of the showroom, silver/black/black. Dad couldn't stand from being behind the wheel of a muscle car. Almost every year back then we had a new one of some sort. If we had of seen this one back then......I think so! And it's For Sale? OMG, I'm dreaming.... if only prices were anywhere near 1969 MSRP's!

Hey Louis - spent many happy hours driving around Melbourne in the 80s/early 90s in my metallic green/green luxury interior/white vinyl top 1970 Chrysler VIP 318 ( came with ‘VG 0318’) plates. I loved that car & its torqueflite. My brother had the white version and one of my best friends a VF hardtop (that’s a Dodge Dart in the US people). It was fun to hit the road in the three OZ Mopars. As for the Wolfman’s Charger… no words… and thank you for all that you do Lou.

This is as good as it gets. B5 blue and white and a hemi, 4 speed. I hope he got Mr. Norm to tune it. Wonderful car. The test drive reminds me of trips to Detroit. They drive pretty fast on the freeways.

This car is held together with the fastener aisle from Home Depot. I have seen it in person and was asked to validate it for the shop it was at. There was no such thing as a White Hat Special Charger R/T. It was only available as a base model.

I thought the 72 Cutlass had the best color combination and exhaust notes. After seeing and hearing this car, I now think the Cutlass is the second best. No disrespect intended. They are both awesome.
