An impressive sound from school and University days. Thanks for posting.

Has this been retrofitted with an automatic or is Verstappen just rowing through all the gears? 😅Thanks for sharing!

I agree a bit more patience between gears needed, it's not a race car!

@@Grid56 that’s why am asking 😂 some of these were retrofitted with Volvo engines and / or automatic transmissions.

@Paul-kh3lw a bit of patience through the gears would result in it coming to a halt with the hills its climbing here.A 3 second pause on a steep gradient does nothing or anyone any favours, especially with a vehicle like this which is greatly underpowered for the gradients being tackled.

@@colindevine8963 makes so much sense as to why our school buses Leyland Nationals 1 and later 2s in the early 2000’s always stopped on hills and rolled backwards.
@Fleswick Жыл бұрын
Back in the 60s we called our old school buses Leyland Canardlys, cos they rolled down hills but could hardly get up 'em.

Gardner? Definitely agree, an enthusiast would be a little more sympathetic to drive their own vehicle correctly and not thrashing it

That transmission/engine won’t last long. Too throttle happy and not leaving enough time between gear changes. Lovely sound though lol
