My dad was at that afc championship game and he said when Polamalu got interception the stadium was so loud and crazy that it felt like there was an earthquake

You guys are lucky I live in Los Angeles. I want to go visit Pittsburgh to watch a home game. I went last year when they came to LA and that was my first football game. There were so many steeler fans it felt like a home game.

The 2 loudest I can think of is vs the patriots in 2017 when juju broke free for like a 70 yard reception. The other and the absolute loudest that hienz field ever got was vs the packers on the game winning touchdown to wallace it got so loud that the NFL had to edit the sound for TV broadcast so you could actually hear anything

Three Rivers was the best. Nobody or place can replicate it. It was where the first dynasty began. When you went through the Liberty Tunnel and came out on the other end. It was like you entered a magical place. The 70's was an incredible time growing up near the 'burgh.

There is one moment from TRS that I feel was one of the loudest, if not the loudest sustained period of noise in that stadium. In the 1997 AFC Championship against the Broncos, we had scored to cut the lead to 24-21. It was still on the plus side of the two-minute warning and a couple of timeouts still. The Broncos flubbed the kick-off and were pinned deep. The two-minute warning ended up happening after second down and before third down. Those who were there remember that the stadium just shook for the entire two-minute warning. It was a sea of terrible towels and the sound was thundering when Elway finally came to the line of scrimmage. Of course, he throws that PERFECT pass to Sharpe that Gildon just missed and the rest is history.

First time I went to a game (I live in Michigan) it was the Dolphins game last year. I could not believe the atmosphere even with so few people in the stands. Can't imagine what a Ravens or playoff game would be like. If I get tickets to the Thanksgiving one I'm definitely going.
