Loudon is so underrated. This is one of my favorite songs. His lyrics are always so witty and ironic.

I don't know what it is about this song. It's not particularly a tear-jerker - no specific heartstrings are being tugged on here. It gets to me every time, though - it moves tears to me, for no reason that I can quite put my finger on. ...I guess it's just that it's such a beautiful piece of work that my heart swells with pride, just knowing that a fellow member of my very own species made this thing, all by himself.

a young man's voice, yeah - beautiful, natural tenor. his son also has a beautiful voice but you can tell he's really a baritone.

Rufus sang this too. He should have said I’m a 10 man guy, lol. All in fun…I LOVE Rufus Wainwright! Check out his “Across the Universe” remake. Beautiful voice. Even his “He ain’t Heavy, he’s my Brother” is also incredible.
Any videos you liked previously and want back, please let me know. Or any songs you like and wonder is there a video, I will let you know if it exists, as what I uploaded before was just a small percentage of what I have. HB

@homelessbrother You are awesome! Don't get into trouble for us but I thank you. If Loudon's people are reading these, I discovered Loudon through homelessbrother's youtube videos and have since then bought his records, gone to his shows, and introduced friends to him who have done the same. Your sales increase with his youtube exposure. Please allow us to love Loudon's art fully!

maybe the most narcisstic lyrics ever written... it was genius by his neglected son to cover it, perform it with friends and harmonize it ("one man guy" with three voices)
