Literally just walked in the door from a Guns N Roses concert in Melbourne, Australia. Duff looked very tasty on stage; very fit and very healthy, and he seems like a terribly sweet man. The girls were enjoying the view...as Axle's not offering much in the looks department anymore. The concert was fantastic BTW!

Oh Duff being a parent is for life...you're never done being a parent, you just experience different degrees of parenting. It's far more important to be their parent when they're teens than being their "friend" the "friendship" comes after they spread their wings, live on their own & start their own family. They'll still come to you for advice when they're in their 20's & 30's & that's when you have to trust that you've raised them to be productive members of society. Offer the advice they seek but know they'll ultimately do what they want anyway. Let them fall & fail, it's vital in building character.

Hard talk with Duff about drinking. I learned a lot. I had no idea how band members drank and did hard drugs. It is so readily available. God or the Universe had other plans for Duff. Look at all of Duff' accomplished. Don't be a Dick! Great Advice.😊

I'm a teacher and in my opinion, Duff is making a mistake thinking parenting stops when a child is 11 or 12. It looks like he has good children so good for him and his wife, but a lot of parents stop paying attention to their teenagers and the results can be bad. I understand what he saying but a lot of kids need strong parenting to get through the teenage years.
@LeeO20114 жыл бұрын
he basically means that once we start hanging out with other teenagers we look up on the cool friends we have as examples of how to live and thats's what is gonna stick with us the most.

Men take on responsibilities It may be tough It may even be impossible But you do what you can to get through it And you protect That does not always mean physically And BE the man you want your children to be. Be the man you want your daughter to be with Be the man you want your son to become And TEACH the responsibilities I think what is really wrong with the younger generations Parents think it's their job to make life easy for them To give no responsibility to them I think it is parents job to teach kids they can survive a difficult situation and even thrive Instead of saying don't touch that or do that Teach them how to use things Teach what they are supposed to do

I have all the respect in the world for Duff- except when he tells me “how to be a man.” It’s gotta be easy to get sober and remain sober when you have all that money. There are hundreds of other things to latch onto- you can basically buy and do and go wherever you want. I’m sorry but that has to make it pretty easy. He can travel the world and basically do whatever the fuck he wants. Try getting sober in the real world without money, professional trainers and therapy, etc. it’s not even close to being the same.

@@scottyd2262 Hey I get it man- I’m now 46 years old with a 21 yr old in college, been married for 14 years. I’ve gone through plenty of ups and downs, etc. and have been sober from alcohol and painkillers for 6 years now ( longest I’ve ever gone) and I understand the mindset and what it takes I’m just saying it’s gotta be a lot easier when you’re that wealthy

I really like this guy but being a man really just takes two testicles. Each man is a man in his own way just like every woman is a woman her own way... Do women have similar questions, like "am I a real woman?"
