Most people seems to miss the thing that a good drum intro is: +The beginning of the song with only drums. +Either simple or difficult. It doesn't matter, as long as... +That drum intro is instantly recognizable and that intro puts you on the mood of the song. This said, sure some drum intros are missing. This list isn't THAT BAD tough.

I actually heard Dave Mustaine originally composed the intro to some drummer he had before Nick but it was never put on a song so he then explained to Nick how it's played and later it became the intro of RIP Polaris.
