Hey Louie, yes indeed, I've found another favourite in you. You're so smooth with those ghost notes, they seem completely effortless and flow beautifully. Thanks for the great groove here, but also for the nice, slow and patient tutorials. That seems to be your style! Top notch stuff man!!

Sounds a lot like "The Oakland Stroke" by David Garibaldi. But I like yours even better. It's a keeper for me. Good job breaking this groove down! I'll definitely place this puppy in my armmamentarium. Rock on my friend.

Está con ganas el groove! Una duda, por qué usas, de izquierda a derecha, primero el tom medio y luego el chico? Hay algún secreto?

This groove would fit well into the snare/X-hat part of a street band, ideally using a Pearl® FFX1412 Championship™ or CMSX1412 Competitor™ or equivalent with X-hat and splash outriggers on a May® vest carrier rigged for pipe-band double-snare to minimize moment arm. May-carried quint or hex tom with suspended cymbal and tone blocks on outriggers; May-carried bass drum with hoop-mounted cowbells on the left; and one pair of Avedis Zildjian® Z-MAC® cymbals would complete the street-band drum line.

I can generally pick up beats very quickly but this one is tough for me because I can't hear it as a four bar groove. It just feels like a it's in 7 or something even when I'm playing it. Anyways, great video.
