As he was harp virtuoso the presence of his favourite instrument in a concertante symphony style in the slow movement doesn't come as a surprise. There's a huge mood change, too, of slow movement with the sturm und drang style of first and third movements, positioning this work as a strong break of traditional symphony scheme. That's interesting, although purists of classical symphonic procedures may stay "nose up". But I liked the slow movement surprise, more than sturm und drang outer movements themselves. They are good, indeed, yet a bit conventional (there're hundreds of sturm und drang works in that period composed allover Europe)
