I don't understand the criticism of Opie or Anthony. Like fans hate one or the other. They're not perfect by any means, they're just two dudes making radio. Trying to make people laugh and talk about bunch of stuff. It's not easy to make entertainment trough radio - with just talking shit. And they're probably the best. Who or what other radio talk shows have such interesting guests and discussions that they had with Louie or Patrice?
@Atom.Storm.3 жыл бұрын
@@AldoApachi- Yeah but actually listen. Opie adds nothing. All he does is go to the phones and pull the brakes constantly. Like you said, have the worlds best comedians in aroom laughing like hell and opie says "let go to mike in buffalo", screech, jokes end, another moron on the phone. Add to that opie was comically intert. He regularly killed bits, didnt get things or took a huff. He was the biggest hole in radio. The show should have been the Jim and Ant show.

The most obvious but still interesting and kind of an iconic mishap as far as editing/film details which get overlooked is the very beginning title card sequence of The Shining, as a huge cinematic "birds-eye" shot follows the Torrence's car as they drive up the mountain towards The Overlook, before they hit the tunnel there's the shadow of the helicopter that's filming casted on the open side of the hill. Very clear and obvious and on screen for some 5+ seconds. Of course that would never happen today or even in the last 20 years but I think that's what makes it unique and interesting. I'd assume that they may have taken it out in recent 4k releases and whatnot, I recently bought the bluray release and am waiting to watch it soon, but I know the shadow helicopter is on my DVD release.

In the LotR they made the orcs and Uruk-hai in particular look amazing with real make up and masks, only using cgi for massive shots, but in the Hobbit and so many other movies today it's just like "fuck it, make it all cgi, and no you don't even have to put love into it because theyll all come to see these movies based off member berry filled nostalgia"
