Enemy Mine is a such a great movie cause in the beginning it is about an enemy that becomes your friend through love and compassion but at the end it literally becomes a movie about fighting your way through a mine filled with enemies!!

I continue to tune in to see Wes' intros. I loved today's intro and was literally laughing out loud. All I can say is that if this was a mediocre episode, if I was Louis Gossett Jr and somehow watch it from heaven, I would be proud and honored at what was said today. Great Episode. Shout to Joseph! US F-16 pilots call it the "Viper" - named after the Vipers from Battlestar Galactica. Although the official name is the Falcon, the pilots don't call it that.

This is complete supposition on my part. Maybe Eddie Murphy used the Axel Foley name so that fans of strong black chars. would know something about his char. in Beverly Hills Cop, and give a nod to one of the GREATEST entertainers ever. Lewis Gossett Jr. could do it all!

Louis Gosset Jr. like so many other talented Black actors probably wasn't offered the same roles as Jack Nicolson, Robert De Niro, or Al Picino because of good ol' racisim. Outside of Denzel and Sidney, Hollywood wasn't putting Black actors in leading roles, they weren't financing Black movies, so you see great talents like LGJ fade away from the spotlight.
