Tuning in to haer the words -- welcome back. Where the heck is Wes broadcasting from? "Apology accenpted" Wes. I guess that is too subtle of a reference... I enjoyed this show as always

Lebowski jokes aside, I'd say Thanos is basically Humungus from Road Warrior as Ty described him. The guy who nobody ever talked back to no matter how dumb his ideas were, and when they finally did he started doing the thing YT won't let me write in the comments.

Roy Batty is the PROtagonist. And the hero of the film. That's the greatness of the film is to follow an agent of the bad guys.
@macrosenseКүн бұрын
Does the antagonist have some other goal that the hero interferes with, or is the villain just there to mess with the hero?

John De Lancie said that when he played antagonists, he never played them as "I am evil" he played them as "How do I get what I want?"

What a GREAT point you made ,a certain way of looking at it that I Never though of till you mentioned it (Thank You) - about the "owing of a woman /woman's body ,once she is Pregnant. And that is Certainly one of the unspoken tenets of the anti-abortion / anti - Birth Control stance. Once the woman is Pregnant & MUST be protected if society has Laws against abortion & all of that - it seems the Controllers now have the say. And they actually think they OWN the woman because of it. I have always been against the total ban on Abortion (bad as it seems) because Woman are & should be in charge of this ... I am sorry for being ignorant in this aspect. Have never really seen it that way but now - thank to your comment ,I can see it through the Rosemary Baby idea. Wow - & the scales shall fall from your eyes

It's not just Actor's Wes ... Once you discover this technique - it is SO easy to seduce some people with the Tiniest of effort. I could go on but I don't want to pollute the atmosphere at this great site with current events. Just suffice it to say - you learn these few simple thing's and you can see how rampant it is nowadays

If anybody cares, Prime is currently streaming a remake of Rosemary’s Baby from 2014 starring Zoe Saldana along with other highly competent cast members. It didn’t affect me as much (horrify) as the original, but wasn’t terrible. My wife, who hadn’t see the original, liked it more than I did.

I love you guys, but please look up the correct pronunciation of Denis Villeneuve. I'm not French, but I know a little, and I always stumble over how both of you are saying it. Apart from that: Don't change a thing!

So many potential readings for the ending. Is the horror on her face because the baby is deformed or because it's the literal manifestation of her violation? Ragged breathing could be caused by fluid obstruction. She does not have any instinct to help the baby, again is this because of disgust at its physical condition or disgust at its existence? The baby's breathing is waning by the end, there is no need to violently destroy it which could land her in serious trouble. I think discourse around the baby being deformed or not is not as important as her loss of autonomy throughout the film (this discourse is oddly familiar...) and I did read the ending personally as a pro-choice allegory. The priest was a scientist, but he also had faith. He truly believed he was implementing God's will (if such an opportunity arose it's easy to see someone being religiously compelled to act on it). He was someone intelligent who believed he was doing the right thing as commanded by the highest authority, but who was also willing to strip others of their autonomy in the process (again, oddly familiar). (If the main character remains a believer at the end, she could see it as stopping Jesus' return at the wrong time, even damning herself in the process, however I don't personally believe her faith or lack thereof was involved in her final decision)

It’s such a joy to watch the co creator of The Expanse and Wes - who played my favourite character from The Expanse, Geek out on various shows, movies and topics. After I watched the first episode of The Expanse I couldn’t stop watching. At the time there was only 4 seasons and i binge watched it only stopping to eat and sleep. I couldn’t stop watching and I HOPE Amazon decides to let you finish the story on Amazon. I need more. Any chance of you fulfilling your original vision of The Expanse and creating an open world/RPG video game? I know we have the TellTale game, but like the show - I need more. 🎶 With a belter yell, I cried more more more 🎶

I tried reading Dune at 12. And was absolutely lost lol, so good on you Ty I did read it again when I was 17 and was more on my level then. Thankfully my father then pushed me to Read Enders Game and I've been a scifi guy ever since. Villeneuves Dune is amazing. Especially for people who have read atleast the first book but I'd say the first few Especially!
