2017 was the time where he was still finding his sound and all of the songs weren't on his debut album Walls!You should checkout songs from Walls, it's an amazing album.Maybe start with the title track Walls

I love this song a lot mainly with how it showcases his voice and I love the beat. I also think his and Bebe's voice match perfectly. She is an american singer btw, she's awesome. It's filmed in his hometown, which he loves and that Doncaster stadium is a place of importance, since he loves and can play football, sorry, soccer, he also played with the local team there for a year. Mainly for pr of course but something he takes pride in I believe. This was his second solo song and he was still trying to find his way after 1D. He felt the pressure of doing what was expected vs what he wanted to do. He loved working with Bebe and while he love the song he found the sound didn't feel authentic to him. It took a couple of years but he made the decision to follow his heart instead and that's why his album ventured less mainstream but more him. He has said the song Kill My Mind represent the kind of sound he wants to do more of in the future. So. Thank you for reacting to Louis. I really love this guy a lot but I dunno, this is the second Louis reaction from you I see but I still don't know what you really think about him or the songs.

@@oldguyreactions Thank you!! I'd like to add that I think his Walls album is a transitional album. He's still not fully there yk? The album has a raw, organic feeling and he loves guitars so it mostly goes into an accoustic feel. A few of the songs were written the same year as Back To You in 2017 and I think that is noticable even if he must have changed them sonically to fit the sound of the album. Kill my mind and the title track Walls (my second fav of the album) was written in 2019 I think so it's mostly those 2 songs that gives a hint on where Louis wants to go, but that will be the next album. Lyrically the album is all about Louis life but written in a way that it feels very relatable. There's some 1D related things, a lot of heartbreaks and regrets in there but it also gives out a strong message to not give up. My fav song is Two of us, it's about the loss of his mother.

I think you would like Miss You by Louis. You look to be around my age...was in college in the 90s when alternative grunge and punk pop/rock was basically the soundtrack to my youth. Miss You reminds me so much of the music back then. I can definitely picture my friends and I in the bar singing this song just before last call! Louis has the perfect voice for that genre!

Another I've seen broke the song up my stopping and putting a black screen up for a couple of seconds a few times throughout the video, which apparently keeps them from getting blocked.
