I have the DA pochette cles as well (which I got new this year) and I totally agree about the canvas being so thin as compared to what it once was. I have a Damier Azur koala wallet I got in 2007 and the canvas is incredibly thick and sturdy, and it's still in great condition even though I have used it quite a bit. Those were the days!

Yess I miss the older Louis Vuitton canvas! They just felt a lot more luxurious. Oh well, at least we’re lucky to own some older pieces in the thicker canvas - I’m definitely not letting them go! 😆

Oh gosh, I always liked this particular piece, and I looked on the LV website as well and never saw it, so I forgot about it and then today I was casually shopping and stopped into The Real Real (NYC location) and I saw one of these in the showcase! I instantly took it! It was on sale for $295usd and I had a $50 credit due to selling a Chanel purse to them, and after added tax and my discount I paid $270! It was made in France and is in GREAT condition! I really lucked out! xx

Right now, I'm also on the hunt for another classic, the key pouch in the canvas. Another hard piece to find, but still available. So cool, you were able to find it within Australia. BTW, you are so good at finding pieces like these ones!

Check the LV website randomly over and over at night between 10pm-2am. I have seen the key pouch come back in stock during those hours multiple times a week. You just have to be diligent and keep checking and refreshing page.

Great catch! I was thinking the same! My round coin purse from 2017 came in the new packaging but maybe just maybe the store it was purchased from still had some old boxes or the seller put it in the old box?! 🤔

That’s true! I hadn’t bought LV for a while during their packaging transition period so that didn’t occur to me 🤔 perhaps the seller just put it in an old box. The receipt definitely matches with the date code so I’m happy either way 😄 it’s definitely a classic piece! I hope you can find one soon 🥰

Thank you! 🥰 unfortunately not 😕because of its circular shape, the corners of the cards will stick out slightly so you won’t be able to zip it. If you’re wanting a coin pouch that can also fit cards, I would recommend the LV key pouch! It’s technically a key holder but it can fit cards, coins and keys so long as they’re not too bulky. It’s a great alternative to a card holder/compact wallet/coin purse ☺️

Yep! LV have discontinued it a few years ago, but they do bring it back each Christmas with different animations on it. Yours sounds like it’s a limited edition Christmas animation one and so cute! I prefer the older animations like that than the ones LV have come out with recently. You’re very lucky to have it! Don’t let it out of your collection 🤣

Hi! ☺️ I don’t own the multi pochette but from what I can see online, the round coin purse isn’t really a coin purse as such. The gussets on the side are really small so it doesn’t look like you’ll be able to fit that much coins in it without the coins falling out. If you’re looking for a proper coin purse, I would definitely recommend finding this round coin purse on the preloved market or looking into coin purses from other brands like the Hermes Bastia ☺️ I hope that helps! 💕
