For me, she is the most beautiful creature that has ever trod terra firma. And I know a lot of you guys feel the same. She has an unmatched combination of refined beauty, mystery, sensuality and charisma that I find overwhelming. Just to know that she existed is to enough.

what an amazing generation of women we get to witness from the amazing old silent films -- -they weren't eating chips, watching soaps, and texting all day -- -they came from a hard-working, unentitlement, that forged them into classy, healthy, dignified creatures....oh to have lived back then.....

Louise was a very complex woman. I read 2 books on herald countless articles & I have four of her movies on DVD, though I have seen six in total. Her films are hard to find, but worth it. She was a difficult actress to manage in a time where if you were under contract you had to do certain things a certain way. Louise didn't give a shit she did whatever she wanted for a very long time and paid a price for it later in life. Its a shame that she cut her own career short.

I have 7 of her films so far and there are another 6 I don't have yet. Her earliest film available is "Love Em and Leave Em". It is a shame that several of her early films were not preserved and will never be seen again although many of the movie stills and other items do exist.

I think she looked even more beautiful with longer hair. She used it in her last film, now forgotten western "Overland Stage Raiders" (1938), with John Wayne. Its difficult to understand how come her film career ended when she was only 32. You hardly will recognize her with longer hair. :) www.imdb.com/title/tt0030545/mediaviewer/rm1624762112
